Before I upgraded to the WiFi version, I had near realtime data. It’s taking approximately 4mins to refresh. I don’t like having to give out my phone number to see data on my own inverter. Lack of graphing for solar generation, utility nor load makes it difficult to see this essential data nad is one. Of the primary reasons to have an app- also the history function does not work on the iPhone you maybe able toscroll throughOne or two records and then it freezes. Having the slider button at the bottom makes it challenging because it moves the app to the right and not the slider so it’s like you’re switching to a different app or the home screen. Software engineerShould look at the growatt interface it’s easier. I do like the ability to change the settings and that seems to work well. The animated graph only gives you the phase line that has the most watts used, it doesn’t total the household wattage consumption (both lines). You have to go to the bottom of the history to see the total wattage. The app gives you the total of yearly, monthly and daily PV production, but not the household consumption. Buggy, unreliable and full of nonsense numbers. Poor translations and you couldn’t set up your device using this - it doesn’t seem to save anything. Slow and clunky and difficult to use. The numbers in it are extremely unreliable. Sometimes maybe it hasn’t updated, which is definitely an issue - but other times they’re clearly just nonsense. For example, - “Overview” section claiming “today generation 4.0kwh” at 10am when my panels are still shaded by trees. I also don’t have that many panels yet. It’s looks like a fake demo number they didn’t wire up. Elsewhere it provide a plausible figures, sometimes, but the lack of updating and general unreliability mean you can’t really use it to keep tabs on your solar set-up. It provides some weird graph that seems to show Alarm %, based on the key. It makes no sense. No real production data shows up here. The app logs out frequently. Every time you close the screen and come back to it, but sometimes also while you’re using it?! It’s very silly. My inverter device gets duplicated sometimes (a second version of it appears in the list). When trying to look at parameters it’s very slow to load settings, the buttons are badly named translations, and then it doesn’t appear to save any changes anyway. If you’re shopping for an inverter and they use this app, I’d avoid it personally. The PC software is equally terrible (as was the manual with our device). If you want truly remote monitoring or any real control or access to your own data, this can not provide it. ### 1/5 — Awful Awful Awful *2023-08-04, version 1.9.1* Just does not seem to even allow you to register rejecting password each time. I have a EG4 ### 1/5 — Worthless App *2022-09-19* Tried for over an hour to make this app work. Could not get the 6048LVX to connect in to my network. It is not like I am novice at this. Always got the stuff connected one way or the other. Trying the PC software provided on a CD now, just had to find a laptop with a serial port, who in the world uses 9-pin 232 communication anymore? It would be a major step if I can connect it to my smart home devices. Pros Lost of statistics in text, data from grid, PV and battery as well as consumption. Quick view of how the system is working. Cons No notifications, if there is an apañen or failures there is nothing Current flow diagram is inaccurate and doesn’t show real wattage usage if there are more the one output lines. Only L1 will show up on diagram You need to log in every time you want to use the app and there is no Face ID Statistics could be much more app friendly and they are showed via text, could be just a house click to see statistics.. ### 3/5 — Good information but works inconsistently *2023-01-03* I like the information presented in the app, but find that it only works 50% of the time. I am using it with an EG4 6000-EX inverter. It would seem that with a little more attention it would be an excellent program. Keep in mind that the program only updates every 5 minutes and is not real-time. I only wish it was more reliable. ### 3/5 — Set date and time *2022-02-08* If you are having trouble connecting the Wi-Fi, make sure the date and time is set correctly on the inverter. This is a major omission in the setup directions for both the inverter and the app. It took hours of troubleshooting before stumbling across this priceless piece of information on the Internet, and then within a minute, all of our problems were solved. ### 3/5 — Lvx6048 *2021-09-18* It does work with my lvx6048, but stops showing the solar input at noon everyday. Also in the inverter screen it says W but means kW. Wish you could do more as well.
