### 3/5 — Not working

*2026-07-08, version 4.17*

New to using the App, but so far it hasn’t tracked 2 of my workouts. I made sure Bluetooth was connected on the App and everything. Also, can you add a feature where ppl can log the workout if it didn’t record it? That would be so helpful.

### 3/5 — F80 tread

*2026-07-04, version 4.17*

App provides aggregate data of my wife’s and my workouts. Useless unless I can see just mine! Luckily, the machine separates our data.

### 2/5 — Why does this app constantly break?

*2026-06-03, version 4.16*

Long time user. Why does this app constantly change settings, views, and everything? Strava uploading worked all the time up until this year. Then it was broken, working, broken, on a different menu, then removed, then automatic, and now back to being an option which does nothing when pressed. Unsure why they can’t just make it work and then leave it that way.

### 4/5 — Export Options Removed?

*2026-06-01*

After a couple of months away from the app I see the app has been updated a bit. I was quite disappointed when I finished a run and went to share/export it that I could no longer share or save an image of the results. The only way to share is to Strava. Am I missing something? Plus, the export I sent to Strava didn’t seem to include HR data. Please tell me I’m missing something. We get used to features… enhance all day, but don’t take away functions we use and rely on!

Update:
Feels like the developer’s response didn’t understand what was happening. I have no interest in using Strava. At the time of my review, sharing to Strava was the ONLY OPTION available. I tried it, and disliked it. I’m not certain when it was restored but I once again have the option to share an image of the workout results. So my issue has been resolved.

**Developer response:** Thanks for your feedback. Once your Strava account is connected, you no longer need to upload workout data manually. Your workout data will be automatically uploaded to Strava after each workout. To manage your Strava connection, please go to Settings → Health Apps in Sole+. If you prefer to upload a workout manually, you can also share it to Strava directly from the Workout Summary page after completing your workout. If you have any questions, please refer to the FAQ section in the Settings page.
Update: Please check whether the Photo permission is enabled by going to: Settings → Apps → Sole+ → Photos. Make sure Sole+ has permission to access your photos.

### 3/5 — Export Options Removed?

*2026-03-15, version 4.14*

### 3/5 — Incomplete & misleading Activity Log

*2026-03-04*

I did a late evening walk - started at 11PM and ended a minute past the midnight. Instead of recording a 61min activity, the app recorded just one minute of activity since the date changed between the start and the end of the workout. Incomplete and inaccurate representation - makes me question if I could trust the activity log of the app. Disappointing that in this day and age, Sole’s app developers can make such a trivial mistake. The app in my phone has the latest update.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback. To help us investigate the issue, please send more details to digital_service@dyaco.com.

### 2/5 — Distance no longer syncing to Apple Health

*2026-02-21, version 4.10*

Since January 1st, the app no longer syncs my distance to the Apple Health app, but it still syncs the workout as a whole. All my privacy settings are properly configured. The Sole+ app is listed as “inactive” under walking/running distance in the Health app. Please fix the issue.

### 2/5 — Background update broken - please FIX STILL BROKEN IN 2026

*2026-02-16*

Unfortunately, the issue persists in February 2026, even with the latest version. If you use an Apple Watch, you really won’t care but if you are not using a smart watch, you still have to open the app manually and click on the activity tab or your workout will not be sent to Apple. What a pain!

While I like the app, overall, my biggest pet peeve is that the background update has never worked. This is a huge downside for me because now I am forced to manually open the app after each workout and click on the history tab to ensure that the workout record is being shared With the Apple health and fitness app. Please fix this and you will get a five star review from me.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback.
if your fitness machine has the TFT touch screen console, the machine automatically uploads the workout data to the cloud. Synchronizing the workout data to Apple health must be done by SOLE+ on the iPhone. This is why you have to tab the "history" page to do this thing.
if your mahcine has the LED/LCD console without WiFi, you have to let the mahcine connect SOLE+ via bluetooth. SOLE+ will sync the workout data after you workout.

### 2/5 — Awful login process

*2026-02-08, version 4.9*

Since the app was updated I get logged out all the time. Trying to log in on an iPhone is dreadful. You can’t retrieve a password from chrome or the password app so I end up having to chafe my password all the time because you also can’t copy and paste. Really awful experience.

### 3/5 — Lost workouts

*2026-01-31, version 4.7*

Overall the app is okay. I love being able to track both my treadmill and bike workouts. Sometimes though my workouts don't sync when I'm connected, although that may be an issue with the equipment. Today my workout didn't sync, the app randomly logged me out, and when I logged back in my workout history was empty. I logged out again and back in again and my previous workouts were listed again, but not today's.

### 2/5 — I don’t like that the app doesn’t match my TT8.

*2026-01-26*

I don’t like that the app “cheats” me. Eg on my TT8, 6.2 mph is correctly displayed as 9:40/mile. In the app, it claims I’m running 9:44. The app penalizes by 3-6 seconds for every single speed.

All I want the app to do is show me hundredths of a mile (since my TT8 bizarrely only shows tenths) and calculate speed / distance in line with the machine. It cannot even do that now. The prior version WAS correct, eg 6.1 = 9:50, not 9:53.

Also on my TT8, the wheel size is locked at 3.01. The wheel size should be 2.98 on the 2020 TT8. Why can I not update this??? I wish I had never bought the TT8. It’s probably a great machine for a 400 pound person walking to do rehab. As a 120 pound runner, it is harder than concrete on my joints, and I’m constantly hitting my hands on the oversized console. 😢

**Developer response:** Thank you for your detailed feedback. We’re sorry for the frustration this has caused.

Regarding the pace differences between the console and the app: the app calculates pace from the speed data it receives from the machine, and the difference you described is consistent with rounding and calculation behavior. We’ve shared this with our app engineering team to review and improve the calculation and display logic.

We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience and help us improve the app.

### 2/5 — Recent updates a mixed bag

*2026-01-24*

There has been one definite improvement with the recent updates. Now the app connects automatically with the F63 treadmill. Before I would often have to open and close the app multiple times to get it to connect. Now however the synching with Apple Health is hit or miss. Most of the time it records the time (which sometimes seems to be a little off) and most often does not record the distance. A few times it has recorded duplicate entries. It would be great if it could synch with Apple health like it used to.

### 4/5 — New App

*2026-01-22, version 4.6*

Less information now than on the previous version!!! Also unable to gain access to METs and no adjustment to incline!!! Hopefully these are niggles that are being sorted.

SOLE have responded and the app is now an improvement compared to when launched.

Now 4 stars….

### 1/5 — Calorie and distance data is not correctly passed to health app

*2026-01-20, version 4.5*

When used with Apple Watch, the app is not correctly passing the calorie and cycling distance to the Health app

### 1/5 — No longer reliably tracks exercises

*2026-01-18, version 4.4*

Previous version of the app was a bit more basic looking but functional. The recent update looks “prettier” but getting workouts to sync from my treadmill is now 300% more annoying and finicky, and half the time it just doesn’t work at all, so I have no way of automatically saving the data from my exercises.

### 1/5 — Workout is not being saved

*2026-01-18, version 4.4*

I have an SB900 and since the new version of the app, the workouts are not being saved in the Sole+ app. Once you hit “finish” and then check activity, nothing is recorded. This already hasn’t recorded anything in the Health App since early last year, and now it won’t even record in its own app. Please QA test and fix your bugs.

### 1/5 — Unreliable

*2026-01-18, version 4.4*

I’ve been using this app consistently for over a year, and I’ve had many problems with it. Doesn’t communicate with ios health and fitness apps, recent versions don’t save session history.

### 1/5 — Still seems to crash after 30 min

*2026-01-17, version 4.4*

You fixed the part where it will finally read my pre-programmed workout from my treadmill but now it seems that after 30 minutes the application crashes and closes and I have to re-open it.

### 2/5 — New update no longer works well with iOS

*2026-01-15*

The old version mostly worked with my iPhone and Apple Watch to send heart rate and other information back and forth between my E95S elliptical and my devices. Now the heart rate works at apparently random intervals and yesterday the app on my phone froze and repeatedly dropped the Bluetooth connection. I would connect via WiFi, but it seems I can’t do that without deleting my account and starting from scratch, losing all my history in the process. For as much as these machines cost, they need to put more effort into the software. And make sure they work with more than just Garmin devices.

**Developer response:** We’re sorry for any inconvenience caused. Regarding the E95s, we will release a new version as soon as possible. For any problems or suggestions related to the device or the app, please feel free to contact us at digital_service@dyaco.com. We’ll be happy to assist you.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — TOA and Privacy

*2026-06-25, version 4.17*

The app claims on the App Store that it collects no data, but the terms of the agreement for account creation require you to agree to share all your personal information with the app and that it may send the information to third parties.

### 1/5 — Newest update

*2026-05-20, version 4.15*

With the newest update it no longer exports to Strava. That’s one of the reasons I loved the app. But now, I no longer have a use for it.

### 1/5 — No longer connects

*2026-03-26, version 4.14*

I get constant "network not available" errors.

### 1/5 — App Not Working

*2026-02-26, version 4.12*

The app will not let me
sign in. Will not accept the password and user name that is correct. Keeps saying there is an error. Treadmill good, app is bad! Please fix the issues!

### 1/5 — Removal of treadmill control features

*2026-02-18, version 4.10*

We’ve been using the app to control our treadmill due to console issues but now we can’t because of the recent update so our treadmill is worthless. Why did Sole remove those features?

### 1/5 — Cash grab

*2026-02-10, version 4.10*

After updating the app it logged me out. It lost my username and treadmill. Now it won’t restore my purchases, won’t record my heart rate from my watch. It doesn’t play well with Apple fitness. It won’t record the workout into fitness unless you also record it with Apple fitness but then it’s recording twice. I should have got a better treadmill

### 1/5 — Worst Fitness App I’ve Used

*2026-02-10, version 4.10*

Since buying a Sole treadmill 2 months ago, I’ve had nothing but problems with the app. From multiple different types of syncing issues with Strava to data loss issues like HR (even though it’s clearly rendering the data on the treadmill screen. The data analysis in the app itself is very, very limited and basic. Each new update of the app seems to bring along new deal-breaker bugs. Wish I had gone with another brand of treadmill.

### 1/5 — Broken

*2026-01-30, version 4.7*

Update ruined the ability to record workouts. 1 out of 3 workouts get recorded to the app. Old version recorded all of them. App is useless now.

### 1/5 — Ascent does not sync

*2026-01-30, version 4.6*

F85 ascent does not sync. Otherwise fine but mostly use it to push data to Strava. Would not use it if I could push data directly.

### 1/5 — Disappointed

*2026-01-25, version 4.6*

Latest update broke heart rate monitoring on Apple Watch.

### 5/5 — 4.0 Update broke use with SRVO - revised

*2026-01-08, version 4.0*

My mistake…Sole created a separate app for SRVO. Was able to pair there and sign in and use as normal.

### 5/5 — Issues uploading my workout

This is a fantastic treadmill. I am 5 ft 1 in and my husband is 6’5” and it is comfortable for us both. It is quiet, smooth, and offers a lot of classes. I recommend it. You won’t be sorry with this purchase.
