### 5/5 — Wow, very impressed

*2024-10-17, version 2.62*

I was hesitant but super happy that I decided to purchase it. Minimal is by far my favorite view. I’m hoping for a few improvements such as, grey out past events in all views (would make the focus so much better, really needed asap), allow 45 min event durations, time to leave notifications, and an indicator to show current place in the days timeline. Month and week view are very hard to see where I’m at for the day.

### 5/5 — Very Promising App

*2024-07-05, version 2.58*

Loving this app so far! Missing a couple features IMO that would make this a total game changer.
- Daily Briefing Notifications - aka Timepage from Moleskin.
- Hyperlinks - when creating a reminder it will not allow you to create a hyperlink when creating a reminder.
- There seems to be a bug when viewing a date in the future. After a few seconds it jumps back to today’s date.

### 5/5 — Solid

*2024-06-26, version 2.58*

I’ve been looking for a Fantastical replacement for years but none of the calendar apps had natural language support or the type of layout I liked. I finally found my new go to calendar app in Solid Calendar!!! I love how it’s so well designed and the fact that it literally has everything I need in a calendar. Thank you!

### 5/5 — Great app, great value

*2024-06-24, version 2.58*

Excellent calendar app. Great set of view options, with nice Reminder integration. I was delighted to find that purchase (I bought the bundle, not just the calendar) included not only the iPhone and iPad apps but the Mac apps as well. I’ve stopped using my other third-party calendar apps on all platforms. Well done!

### 5/5 — Best calendar app

*2024-05-16, version 2.56*

I don’t usually write reviews but this app is superb. The developer actively answers questions and suggestions and it is a simplistic yet useful calendar which has helped me manage my work effectively.

### 5/5 — Easy to Use

*2024-05-13, version 2.56*

A nice clean calendar that is easy to use and aesthetically pleasing, without too much added fluff. Does what it says on the tin. Very pleased!

### 5/5 — AWESOME CALENDAR

*2024-05-12, version 2.56*

I have tried so many calendars. It is ridiculous. Simply put, I have found my calendar. I will never use another calendar ever again unless this one just crashes or gets bought out by someone—which could happen—IT IS THAT GOOD 👍.

### 5/5 — Good interface

*2024-03-23, version 2.49*

I wanted a calendar which had a nice week view and used apple cal on the back end. this seems to do all that. So far impressed.

### 5/5 — Yes it’s Solid

*2024-02-11, version 2.35*

Solid, simple and straightforward. Kind of refreshing. Would love to see a unique Apple Watch complication. The Diary app is also exceptional!

### 5/5 — Just bought

*2024-02-09, version 2.35*

So far I love it 👍

### 5/5 — Your inner self, done right

*2023-12-14, version 2.25*

I just signed up for this app, and I’m excited as to this prospect of what could do for someone like me who is in the constant battle with discipline and time management in order to achieve my goals. The interface is fantastic. I downloaded the bundle, and I’m excited to jump into all of it.

### 5/5 — Simplicity

*2023-11-26, version 2.17*

So far, fantastic. Simple, elegant, very functional. As a result quick to use, less actions, who can ask for more?

### 1/5 — Privacy scam?

*2024-03-10*

First I have to pay $5 for the app with no trial. Ok. But then it won’t even let me use the app without creating an account with a 3rd party web site?

Forget it. My calendar data is on my phone already, there is no reason to ship it off to a 3rd party site even if it is supposedly encrypted.

The account requirement isn’t even mentioned in the app description. Kinda shady.

**Developer response:** An account is now no longer required with the latest update (v2.43). I have taken into account feedback from the community and updated Solid Calendar to work without a Solid Apps account. This account was only used to sync a few small preferences. Your events and reminders were always local and no data is collected or shared, but I do understand your concerns and have made the necessary changes. I hope you will give Solid Calendar another chance, and if there is anything else I can help with, please reach out any time to hello@solidapps.co

### 2/5 — Nice but frustrating

*2024-10-17, version 2.64*

This is a “solid” app, but I just wish there was a weekly view that didn’t show calendar events horizontally. It’s a bit weird, especially when you have all day events in your calendar that show exactly the same way as a timed event. I wish there was just a standard, traditional calendar weekly view like most calendar apps. This would truly make this app a game changer. However, for professionals who need this basic view, the app becomes a bit unusable.

### 2/5 — Calendar

*2024-07-18, version 2.58*

Live in Australia. The app will not sync to the correct date. It’s a day behind, even though it opens to the current day. On first glance on app though the date is yesterday.

### 2/5 — Calendar with out widgets? Whats the point

*2024-05-01, version 2.55*

Whats the point? I want to see my next item at a glance. Not have to go into the app, this should be basic stuff. Its pretty and provides good info but missing the widget or menu bar info on mac... madness

### 2/5 — Nice aesthetics, had issues

*2024-03-18*

Tried it out. Tried to change a daily event time and it changed that day but appeared on the previous time for the rest of the week. Normal calendar app shows change but this app didn’t.

### 2/5 — Stopped working

*2023-12-01, version 2.23*

After last update it just crashes every time I try and use it. Why are there so many updates? It was working fine.

### 2/5 — Widgets subpar

*2023-11-26, version 2.17*

Widgets do not match the design of the app, seems as if they were an afterthought. There should be a widget that gives you a list of upcoming events for several months as in the app.

### 3/5 — Not sure about this app

*2023-11-26, version 2.17*

This is a calendar app. Why do I need an account to use it? I have enough accounts without creating a new new one for no reason.

Also, why is there no information about the developer?

### 4/5 — Solid Calendar Review

*2025-02-10, version 2.70*

Just downloaded the app along with its companion apps. Great working concept: not bloated; straight-forward; ease of use and visually appealing.

### 5/5 — Brilliant

*2026-02-03, version 2.76*

I could rattle on and on about this app and Solid Apps in general but there is nothing more to say than Solid Apps – App's are just brilliant.

## Most praised reviews (9 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — One of the best apps from an outstanding developer

*2025-12-30, version 2.76*

Love this app, you won’t be sorry.

### 5/5 — The app is exquisite, the support sublime.

*2025-12-17, version 2.76*

I love this calendar app so, so much. Among the reasons are that it’s easy to use, looks great, is affordable and the support is fantastic — fast, friendly and accurate.

### 5/5 — Solid Calendar is solid!

*2025-06-30, version 2.75*

Finally! A simple calendar app that works. It offers different views, it’s easy to add entries, and once I got my Mac and iPhone calendars in sync correctly, it works great. (My problem; not the app’s!) I am delighted and strongly recommend this app if you like simple software that just does its job. Well done!
What would I add? Just an option to display little checkmarks for appointments that I’ve finished. No need to cross things out or change the order of display. Just a little checkmark or dot to visually mark things as done.

### 5/5 — So close to perfection that stress melts

*2025-06-30, version 2.74*

I love using this app and bought their productivity bundle because my life is inextricably, organized and tied in ways I never realized. From calendars to habits to productivity, focus tools, EVO and the other bundle have been exceptional.

When set of feedback guy would offer is a better task management landing pad, so that Dail to-dos do not have to be tied to reminders or calendars. Floating to-do’s on my widget page would be rad too. Just a passing thought

### 5/5 — Great App

*2025-02-24, version 2.70*

Lovely design, simple interface and solid performer.

### 5/5 — Zippy, fast, gorgeous

*2025-02-01, version 2.70*

This app is great. It loads quick, it’s easy on the eyes, and it does a great job of fast natural language interpretation. I’ve tried almost every calendar app out there, and this one is the best value by a long shot for my needs. Highly recommended!

### 5/5 — A phenomenal calendar app!

*2024-11-20, version 2.66*

Background: I’ve tried a lot of calendar apps, my main one was the default apple calendar prior to this one because sometimes the simplest is best. However, I wasn’t a huge fan of the mobile appearance of apple’s calendar app.

A while back I bought the solid apps bundle to try, and didn’t really try to integrate them into my life. Finally got around to it, and solid calendar is incredible! It provides a sleek design that isn’t overwhelming or requires a subscription. I also appreciate that the calendars and reminders are simply the ones on my device, so it’s still relatively secure.

I know many are not fans about the requirement of an account, but it to me it is not the end of the world and simply a requirement for multi-device sync.

Definitely give this app a try!

### 5/5 — A solid calendar app indeed.

*2024-11-09*

I just needed a clean and minimal calendar app with natural language processing and this exactly does that.

### 5/5 — Not sold yet

*2024-10-29, version 2.64*

The app overall looks awesome. Performs well and has lots of options. I’m just a bit unsure on the widgets. IMO, the font sizes are too small on the medium widgets. Lots of empty space and just doesn’t look right. I wouldn’t like to have a medium widgets with the date/day on the left side and then events on the right of any. Placing all the text in the middle without a calendar 📅 date/ day looks wrong. Maybe offer another widget option? Still a 5 star app and I’m hoping the dev will continue to update and improve upon an already solid app.
