Tiny modification request *2025-09-16* The app is amazing, and I love the daily devotionals, John piper and DesiringGod is a great spiritual resource! but I do have one source of feedback, the app logo looks similar to a swastika, at first glance it threw me off, I can see after looking at it, it is an S and a J for the apps name, but it may need a slight redesign? ### 4/5 — Great App *2020-05-25, version 2.8.7* Great app, and helps with ones spiritual journey, but it would be more helpful if you receive the daily notification irrespective of you reading the previous days devotional or not. Currently, if you miss a day, you don't get a notification until you open up the app ### 4/5 — Love the content but *2019-11-13* It is a great devotional to wet the appetite for more of God. Many times I am pondering certain point and thoughts and talking with God about them. I like that it is short and to the point. I also like that I can click on a link to see the fuller message or which book it is coming from. I love that I can click on the share button and open it in Safari and Pastor John has a recording where he is reading it himself with emphasis and inflection! What I don't like is for iPhone XR I have a hard time hitting the share and favorite button because it is in that area with the speaker or front camera. I have to hit it like 20 times before it will do anything. All my other apps that I use that space for works fine so I'm thinking it is the app. ### 4/5 — Great text version of Solid Joys *2019-09-22, version 2.8.5* This is a great app, and every day it feels like there is something encouraging there. But as a suggestion, it would be great if the audio version could be provided in-app, rather than having to open the Share link in a browser. It would also be nice if there could be a list of recent episodes and their titles. It would make navigating easier than swiping left and right. I’d suggest this to anyone & everyone. It’s easy and profound - a great way to get some incredible spiritual insight in an extremely simple package. I've had this app on my iPhone for several years & have never had any problems with it until the app was updated. I updated app that automatically downloaded on my iPhone in the fall 2016 has been a disaster. It crashes every single time I open it & I read the daily devotionals, listen to messages, etc. I've experienced the same issues with the app on my iPad Air. I've missed having access to the app but I finally had no choice but to delete in January 2017. Please make the appropriate changes, fix the bugs & provide a clean, restored updated app. I miss the app before it was updated. I'll read the daily devotional & access previously recorded sermons via the ministry website until further notice.
