I have been playing Spider Solitaire on my macBook since I bought it in February of 2026 and have thoroughly enjoyed it. TodayI ended up with just enough cards to fill in the last blank slot.  However, there was an extra Q and was missing the 9 from the deck.  This has never happened to me before or in the years that I played Spider Solitaire on my PC systems.  How could this happen?

This game is partly luck and partly skill.  Experience does help you improve your win percentage; but getting good cards is important too.  This is my most favorite card game.

Russian solitaire how to play says alternate color. Game will not let me do that. I have to build by suit on both tableau and foundation
Options allow me to turn off effects like “animate deal” but now there’s an animate on launch and no way to shut it off. Just a small annoyance but just enough to make me not want to open the game.

I haven’t had any problems with this app since a few updates back. I enjoy playing the games, and I especially enjoy the variety. It offers games that I hadn’t heard of since I was a kid fifty years ago and we played with real paper cards. I recommend this app. It will keep you busy for quite a while just trying out new games. It’s a lot of fun.
