## What is Solitaire Collection No Ads?

Six solitaire games. No advertising of any kind.

Not a banner, not a video between deals, not a "watch this to keep playing". You opened a card game; you get a card game.

SIX GAMES
• Klondike — the classic, draw one or three
• Spider — one suit, two or all four
• FreeCell — eight columns, four cells, almost every deal solvable
• Pyramid — clear the pyramid by pairing cards that make thirteen
• TriPeaks — three peaks, one long run
• Golf — one card up or down, no stopping

NEW HERE? IT TEACHES YOU
Every game opens with a short lesson the first time you play it — a real table you tap through, one move at a time, not a wall of text. Pyramid, TriPeaks and Golf make sense in half a minute. After that the rules stay one tap away inside every game.

BUILT TO BE READ
Most solitaire apps print cards the size of a stamp. Baize gives you oversized indices in a proper serif, near-black ink on cream, and a Large Indices setting that makes them larger still. If you have ever squinted at a nine and wondered whether it was a six, this one is for you.

PLAY IT YOUR WAY
• Tap a card and it flies to the only place it can go
• Or drag it, with the whole run following
• Unlimited undo, always free
• Left-handed layout puts the deck under your thumb
• A hint when a table stops making sense

A DEAL OF THE DAY
One deal every day, the same one for every player, drawn from the date rather than from a server. Compare your time honestly.

SIX ROOMS, ONE DECK
Emerald, sage linen, claret, midnight, walnut and slate. Choosing a table re-dresses the whole app — the cards never change.

IN YOUR LANGUAGE
Thirty-one languages — the lessons and the hints too, not only the buttons.

QUIET BY DESIGN
Cards land with a real sound on cloth, a gentle tap answers in your hand, and clearing a table sends the cards bouncing down the screen the way they did on a beige desktop thirty years ago. No jackpots, no coins, no fireworks.

YOUR RECORD
Every game keeps its own: played, won, current and best streak, best time, fewest moves. A FreeCell streak says nothing about Spider, so they are never mixed.

An unfinished hand waits for you. Close the app mid-deal and the hub offers it back.

BAIZE PRO — one payment, not a subscription
• Every table and card back
• Unlimited hints (free play includes three a day)
• Your full record

The games themselves are free forever, work with no internet at all, and never ask you to watch anything.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.5 — 2026-08-31

Six solitaires, and a long look at what each of them was getting wrong.

• Pyramid is a proper game again. The pack is dealt three times over now, the way Pyramid is played everywhere else — with the single pass it had, almost no deal could be solved at all. And a king turned from the pack can be discarded on its own, as the rules always said.
• Klondike no longer gives up while the deal is alive. It used to announce "no moves left" with a move still on the table — often the very move that frees a card and sends it home.
• TriPeaks pays for a run at last: every card in an unbroken chain is worth more than the one before it, exactly as the lesson promises.
• Win a second hand of Golf, TriPeaks or Pyramid without leaving the table and the game notices. Until now the board simply emptied in silence — no win screen, no record, no streak.
• FreeCell carries a run as far as it claims: one card for every free cell, doubled for every empty column.

### 1.4 — 2026-08-26

### 1.3 — 2026-07-26

The phone stops working so hard while you play.

• Card sounds were blocking the app's main thread on every move — up to 28 ms each, on a phone that draws a frame in 8. Gone.
• The game was capped at 60 Hz on a 120 Hz iPhone. It now uses the full refresh rate.
• The fifty-two cards on a table were redrawn from scratch on every frame; each one is now drawn once and reused. Same deck, a fraction of the work.

And from your messages:
• A hint stays on screen until you answer it, marks the card and where it goes, and is hard to miss.
• Double-tap a card buried under others to move its whole run to a column that will take it.

### 1.2 — 2026-07-24

A deal with no moves left now says so.

• Golf, TriPeaks and Pyramid never ended: the stock ran out, nothing fitted, and the game simply sat there. They now offer a fresh deal.
• Klondike counted a spent pack as a move, so a dead table could be turned over forever without the game admitting it.
• Spider no longer counts a deal it cannot make — a row needs every column filled.
• Pyramid hints light up both cards of a pair.
• The win screen reads in your language again.

### 1.1 — 2026-07-23

What's new:
• Klondike now finishes on its own the moment the deal is solved — no more tapping the last cards home.
• Tap a King to send it straight into an empty column.
• The game now lets you know when there are no moves left.
Thanks for playing!
