### 4/5 — Bright & Clear

*2025-07-31*

Easy to read the large cards despite cataracts.

### 3/5 — Opening screen.

*2025-04-11*

Great game but not sure why we have to see the American flags when the app opens up. America is not the centre of the universe.

### 3/5 — Worked well until the 2025 update

*2025-01-22*

This had been my favorite solitaire game, right up until the latest update changed the screen size, with the result that the played cards now are in the dynamic island at the top of the iPhone screen, and some of the settings and stats can no longer be exited because the “Done” button is now behind an untouchable area of the screen.

**Developer response:** We aren’t seeing this and have no other reports of these issues. Can you contact us direct so we can work with you on these? https://www.solebon.com/contact.html

### 3/5 — Bad name change.

*2024-08-07*

I’ve used this app for a long time and I like it. But Boomer is an insult. You should change it. SMH.

**Developer response:** Not sure why you say this? This app has been relaunched as Boomer Solitaire for Seniors with Large Graphics and Helpful Features! Baby boomers are one of the greatest generations and this homage is an honor, certainly no insult.

### 1/5 — Ads now…Time to uninstall

*2026-04-20*

Sadly, ads are now part of this app. Won’t use or recommend.

### 1/5 — Pure Garbage

*2023-11-05*

Claims no game interruption but in 5 min I was able to play 1 game between ads. Don’t use this game and avoid all other apps developed by this developer.

**Developer response:** There are ads in between games but not while you are playing.

### 1/5 — Cumbersome

*2020-11-12*

Every card must be manually moved even when the game is won

**Developer response:** Tap the Auto button.

### 1/5 — Can’t find anything!

*2020-02-08*

Why did this app change? Been playing it for years and the new upgrade erased all of my stats! I’m unable to pick the game I want to play....so disappointing

**Developer response:** This app just launched 3 days ago. You must be thinking of another app. Please contact us direct so we can assist.

### 2/5 — Solitaire for BOOMERS? What the heck? What if we’re younger?

*2024-08-13*

I don’t know why they did a rebrand, but I feel somewhat put off but this reworking of something that wasn’t broken. 1. I’m not a boomer. Boomer has more of a negative connotation of late, so maybe that’s what’s got me off kilter. I guess I’m too young for this app? I am pretty close to retirement age… but am definitely not a Boomer. 2. The field of American flags at startup - what’s the purpose? What if you’re not USAian? It’s something I’d expect the parents of Boomers to be more drawn into. I can’t say what’s behind it, but for some reason I immediately thought of it as supporting a political cause. 3. I noticed the score and timer text are a little larger now, but otherwise don’t see that the screen is overall better? The menu bar has always been overcrowded, and I have a big phone - but never had an issue with the size of things before with pinch-to-zoom. I have just shy of 16,000 plays and 560 hours invested in this app, at least double that in the (paid) 50-game app, and have never had a serious user interface issue. So I don’t know, what the heck were they thinking with this change?

### 2/5 — Not good

*2020-11-21*

After latest update, doesn’t work. Freezes all the time.

### 2/5 — Not too good.

*2020-02-20*

Doesn’t tell no more moves.2tireman

**Developer response:** The app has Winning Deals so there is always a move. Tap the info button for some detail.

### 3/5 — Updated to 1.8.3 and immediately regretted it

*2026-04-14, version 3.1.8*

I’ve had this app since they first offered it. I paid for the Solebon 50 games because I really enjoy it, and after receiving an email invitation to try this out… well, I’m somewhere north of 10,000 plays. I always assumed that this was offered to me ad-free because of my previous support, but that all changed when I updated to the 1.8.3 version. Now, there are plenty of full-screen ads between every play. It’s very irritating. So, I’ve uninstalled this app, which I’m guessing will be no love lost by the publisher. They’ve been making some negative moves over the past few years, so I guess I’ll just add them to my do not install list for any future offerings.

### 3/5 — Too many ads and interruptions

*2026-04-08*

Too many ads and interruptions

**Developer response:** There are no ads on the game board while you play as with other apps. An ad serves between games and has an X, arrow or button to close. There is also an option to pay to remove ads within Settings.

### 5/5 — Publisher keeps it fresh

*2026-04-25*

Solebon makes fun to play games with lots of options to customize them to your liking. A couple of years ago they tacked “for Seniors” onto the name of this Klondike Solitaire game, which made a few of their players like me who aren’t that old say, “what the heck?”, but that doesn’t change the enjoyment one gets from playing if you ignore the name.

They do keep their games updated to work with the latest OS versions, and are generally very responsive when bugs or improvements are pointed out to them. I recommend not just this game, but all of their games which I play on both iOS and Android platforms.

### 5/5 — Solitare

### 5/5 — Nice done

*2020-04-20*

Good

### 5/5 — Zoom update

*2020-04-13*

Plays great, Latest updates boasts “pinch to zoom” but that’s still not working. UPDATE - this was an optional setting that needed to be enabled. Works great now!

**Developer response:** This is a new feature which you need to enable within the app Settings (it is the last item within the Screen Options section).
