### 3/5 — It’s enjoyable but,

Solitaire forever ll,
Rating 3 points

Hello Michael Sedore,

I’m enjoying this but there’s a few things that could improve my experience;

1, please can you give option to have the demo video/ gif pause? Maybe “tap to play”?

2, I enjoy the 3D effect but it moves at awkward times. Please can we have a “lock frame” option so that it stays put while we play?

3, At the bottom of the screen is a tab bar near where reserve cards are placed but the tab overrides the card spots at far left and right.
🌷
Can you try to separate these? Or is there a hide tab option that I’m missing?

4, default dark theme? If I missed it let me know.

These are my thoughts on my second game play
Overall it’s a nice set of games
Regards
🌷

### 3/5 — Wow

*2023-10-16*

This app is so well done. The customization is top tier. The animations. Everything. I see the last update was 3 years ago. I do hope more games are added and it continues to be updated. It’s an excellent experience as is though. Bravo.

Update : seems to be missing some of my favorites unfortunately

### 3/5 — Still buggy. Buy the original.

*2022-09-27*

Doesn’t crash as much, but many games get stuck with the last cards or few last cards on the board making it impossible to finish.

Plays better in portrait mode, but other than that it isn’t much of an improvement over the original.

### 4/5 — Love it

*2020-12-09, version 1.0.5*

Can you do a Vegas style?

### 4/5 — Crashing

*2020-10-12, version 1.0.5*

The app crashes everyday. Need to restart my iPad everyday to play?? Otherwise it’s great.

### 4/5 — App keeps crashing.

*2020-07-12*

I love this app! Playing “Number 10” on iPhone 7Plus running OS 13.5.1. Game crashes upon opening. I have deleted and reinstalled; did not solve the problem. Please work on this. It’s a great app!!

### 3/5 — Great game, but buggy and missing games

*2020-03-17*

I’m a longtime owner of Solitaire Forever and a free user of Klondike Forever (because I like 2 different games and there’s no easy way to switch in solitaire forever).
This game crashes - a lot. On an iPad, every few days it gets int a mode of starting up with a white or black screen. It will have to be force closed dozens of times and restarted before it will start properly - then it will be normal for a week.
The animation is not smooth while any sounds are playing (on a late model iPad).
Sounds continue after they should have stopped.
Whe you start a new game, the game warns you that a game is in progress, even if the last game is finished.
Three shuffles and a draw is not available in the list of games.

### 4/5 — Keeps Crashing

*2020-01-01*

Love this game. One of my favorites. Lately, unfortunately keeps crashing on my iPhone 8 Plus using 13.3. Sometimes have to restart the phone for the app to work properly for a short time. Especially enjoy La Belle Lucie.

### 3/5 — Forever II

*2019-11-01*

I've been posting Solitaire Forever since almost forever, so I was looking forward to this, but at the moment it doesn't work at all on my iPad. Blank, black screen.
OK - I deleted, reloaded the app and, for good measure rebooted the iPad. It now works fine. Thanks.
Uh,uh! I lost it again when I turned to landscape view. Back to black screen.
I can't find your email on the support page.

**Developer response:** Glad you like the first app, thanks! I don't know why you see a blank screen. No one else has reported anything like that. I would try uninstalling it and installing it again. Perhaps try restarting your iPad also. If that doesn't work, please email me (see my support page), and I will do everything I can to help. * EDIT: The "support" link in the app store goes directly to my support page, or you can tap the "support" link from anywhere on my website. The email address is right near the top of the page. We can chat easier over email. :)

### 3/5 — Relaxed mode please!

*2019-10-28*

Solitaire forever is my favorite solitaire game so I was excited to see this new collection from the same developer. I am enjoying exploring the new look etc. but I really miss I could choose the relaxed mode that the original Solitaire Forever has available. It is a small thing but it changes game play for those of us who want to be able to move groups of cards not just one card at a time. I also don’t like the timer and statistics being displayed so I am flopping back and forth at times between screens. I love the previews of the games and the many options for layouts. I just feel I will not play this as much because of the lack of being able to move groups of cards in my favorite games.
I heard back from the developer and he was very helpful. I do take exception however to his remark that allowing relaxed mode in the first Solitaire Forever was a mistake. I am not a Solitaire purest but I did realize that this mode changed the strategy of the original game. It did make it easier to win but it also meant that you use a different strategy to win the game and it did not insure you would always win. It seems to me there are quite a few games of solitaire available that allow you to play in the more difficult but traditional way. I enjoyed this relaxed mode because it changed the game a bit and made it different not a clone like the new Solitaire Forever 2. It also was just an option after all.
So the new Solitaire Forever 2 has new graphics, new controls and lots of games but you will be playing the same games you can play on many other apps and there is no ability to change to the old relaxed mode. If you like a timer running and stats being tallied you can now see that if you want. I play solitaire to relax and have fun. I doubt if I will be playing this game very much but others will no doubt love it.

**Developer response:** I'm happy to hear that you're a fan of the first game! The "relaxed rules" option in the first game was primarily to allow partial piles to be moved in Klondike. In this new app, you can always move partial piles in Klondike, so you haven't lost anything. Changing the rules in other games was actually not a good idea. It removed the intended strategy of most games. But even this new app has relaxed versions of some of the 300+ games. Rather than turning on an option, a new game is listed as a "relaxed" version.

You can hide the statistics by tapping the pull-tab icon in the lower left. If you still want 1-touch access to undo and redo, it might be better to tap the little arrows in the other corner to shrink the on-screen display.

### 1/5 — First Time Player: seems to be a rip-off

*2024-05-06*

I wanted to play Fission, a game that I had recently discovered. I downloaded and paid for the 302 extra games. Did not even finish one hand when the app crashed. Restarting did not help. Deleting and reinstalling the app did no good as apparently I will need to pay another $7.99 to download the extra games again (?).

### 1/5 — Great app — half of the time!

*2023-03-04, version 1.0.5*

Love the app but hate the fact that on my iPad, it crashes half of the time.

### 1/5 — App is broken

*2022-02-25*

This app needs updating to current iOS. It keeps giving me a black screen when opening. Have to delete and reload. Means going through purchase every time. App does then say you own and reloads for free.

### 1/5 — Crashes too much

*2021-10-09, version 1.0.5*

This used to crash once a week or so. Now with iOS 15 it crashes constantly. Needs an update

### 1/5 — It just keeps crashing

*2021-08-01*

Nine times out of 10 this just keeps crashing on me when playing on my IPad Air II. I loved to play Spider on the old Solitaire Forever, but it became almost impossible to win on it once the new version came out (hmmm). So I bought this version and almost every time I start a game or try to customize something, I just get a black screen.

### 1/5 — Crashes & cards don’t move

*2020-10-26*

I play solitaire all of the time. I just got this game and it wouldn’t open. After awhile it did open. I found the game i wanted to play and then the card wouldn’t ‘stick’ where they were supposed to. I could move the card, but it wouldn’t stay where it should. And yes, I’m sure it was the correct card. And just as i was trying to figure this out, the app crashed. I’m using an iPad Pro, and have plenty of space for this game. I actually spent the $7.99 because i thought that would make the game work. I want my money back!

### 1/5 — Great Gameplay but Major Battery Hog

*2020-01-27, version 1.0.5*

Looks great but uses almost twice as much battery as the old version (even with advanced graphics turned off) and often freezes when launching the game after using other applications.

### 1/5 — Don't like it

*2019-11-22*

Got too complicated compared to the original version

### 1/5 — Freezes Often

*2019-11-04*

I was excited to see that a second version of this app was available.
I play the first version almost every day.
This incarnation has some issues that need to ironed out to warrant a better rating.
1) I’ve yet to play one full game without the app shutting down during gameplay.
I have the app on my iPhone 6 and 7 and have had similar issues
2) I will say that when the game does restart it at least remembers where you were before the crash.
3) I haven’t had enough time to play around with the backgrounds and getting to know the different layouts and card choices because of the crashes.
4) A minor nit to pick but could you please put a star or some other icon to denote which games are new to the second version.

Please address those issues and I’m sure I’ll love this version as much as I did the original.

**Developer response:** Hi! Are you by chance playing Gaps or Montana? There is a known bug that will cause the app to quit if you try to pick up an unplayable card. The next update will have that fixed. Either way, it would be great if you would use the support link to write to me. I would love to ask a couple questions to get more details from you, and see if there is something else I can look at. Thanks!

### 1/5 — Not up to the standard of the old version!

*2019-10-19*

I’ve been a user of the old version for a long time. The old version is simple to use. The user interface is intuitive. This new version is anything but!

The new version is a major disappointment and certainly not worth the price.

**Developer response:** Hi! Sometimes change is good. This user interface displays the primary controls without clutter. More options are revealed by tapping the pull-tab icon in the lower-left.

When you start up the app, you always proceed to the game selection screen first. You can see your game in progress if you wish to continue it, or easily switch to a different game without having to try to figure out how.

I've had positive feedback for this U.I. I hope you come to like it too.

### 5/5 — The perfect solitaire!

*2025-01-05*

Exactly what I’ve been searching for. I was spoiled by the depth and beauty of Hardwood Solitaire 3 which was never properly brought to mobile. Never found a solitaire suite that compares until now. Solitaire Forever II provides just the right level of options and control for smooth and unhindered gameplay with beautifully rendered 3D aesthetics. Meanwhile it’s incredibly affordable and also available for PC. Thanks so much to the developer for going far beyond the typical solitaire experience to bring us something that truly shines.

### 5/5 — This is an excellent solitaire

*2023-10-19*

Takes a little effort to figure out but it is worth it. The solitaire games on this app you don’t find altogether in other app’s. Excellent solitaire app. Fine graphics!!

### 5/5 — Wow

*2023-10-14*

This app is so well done. The customization is top tier. The animations. Everything. I see the last update was 3 years ago. I do hope more games are added and it continues to be updated. It’s an excellent experience as is though. Bravo.

### 5/5 — Awesome Again

*2023-01-30*

I've tried so many solitaire apps and every time I always end up deleting them and going back to this developer's apps. Every time he comes out with something new it's better than the last. Always open to suggestions for improving the app and very responsive and quick. This app is very customizable and looks and plays seamlessly.

Update - I don’t know why I keep doing this to myself…every so often I go looking for a new solitaire app. I did that again a couple weeks ago and ended up trying a few out. I found one that looked good and tried it out for a spin. It was good but after a short while I got really annoyed with the ads. Sooooo, yet again I’ve come back to this one. When will I ever learn!?

### 5/5 — Bargain!

*2020-10-18*

I was shocked at what some solitaire apps are charging for only the most basic game. Some even want a monthly payment! When you divide the purchase price of this app by the number of games you can play it works out to be only a few cents each. You also get great customisation and graphics. Thanks to developers

### 5/5 — Very good app

*2020-07-02*

This is a nice implementation of solitaire. Worth the price

### 5/5 — Great App

*2019-11-19*

This is my favorite solitaire app. There are a lot of games to play. If you don’t know how to play them, the rules are easy to read and follow. If you have any issues, you can email the developer and he answers quickly. I highly recommend it!

### 5/5 — Thumbs up!

*2019-10-28*

Excellent graphics not as good as old original game. Finished 1st game could not find how to start another game. Look forward to updates.

Thanks

Many thanks for you reply yes found the controls and agree when you end the game it would be easier if they appeared when the game is completed automatically.

Regards

Thanks for the updated version great graphics and playability.

Well done 😎

**Developer response:** Update: Good news! In version 1.0.4 when you win a game, options appear right away to deal a new game or return to the game selection.
Original response: Hi Flyer! On-screen controls while you play are limited to things that need to be one touch away. Pause the game for more options, such as dealing a new game or returning to the game selection screen. I look forward to future updates as well. For example, perhaps I can bring up those options automatically when a game is won.

### 5/5 — Very good rendition!

*2019-10-26*

Great things happen when you win a game. Very configurable when you figure out how to do it. The interface takes some getting used to but OK. The board could be sizable but it is OK, a little small for me.

### 5/5 — Very nice

*2019-10-21*

Hi there it’s a very nice easy to play and I love all the games and the cards to play with love it look forward to more games by this developer.
