However, I’m writing to share serious frustration with a recent change that has negatively impacted the experience—specifically related to the Rainbow Ball behavior. Previously, when I created a Rainbow Ball, it would remain available for strategic use—even if another power-up (like a rocket or bomb) was nearby. Now, if there’s another special in its path, the Rainbow Ball automatically activates, often combining with the nearby power-up. This removes control from the player and leads to unintended outcomes that can completely ruin a planned move or combo. This change is: • Frustrating, because it wastes carefully earned power-ups • Disruptive to strategy, especially in more difficult levels • Randomizing, which makes the game feel less skill-based and more luck-driven It used to feel rewarding to build and time powerful combinations. Now it often feels like the game plays itself—at my expense. I truly hope this is an unintentional change or something your team can address in a future update. In MOST of the games similar to this one, if you accidentally hit a “powerball”, you activate it automatically, in essence, wasting it. Circumstances have to align PERFECTLY for you to make a powerball, so I’ve always felt like it was unfair to make it susceptible to other bombs within the puzzle. You guys were one of very few that did t ,ale you sacrificed your most powerful weapon for no reason. I enjoyed the strategic gameplay I was able to do. But now you’re just like all the rest. If an arrow or bomb bumps my powerball, it automatically blows up wherever it is.
