I got on today and my gems from yesterday are gone. 
Update: I’ve discovered that each day it shows you a new girl and says FREE, but then charges you 60 gems. So, not free. 
Update: The game just decided to spend 300 gems on energy. 3 consecutive purchases of 72 energy for 100 gems each After I watched an ad for coins.
