Don’t like the lag time when picking and moving cards. Game stopped working, we haven’t been able to join new games or create new tables all day. Once the problem gets fixed I can up my rating. ### 3/5 — It’s fun when it works *2021-04-17, version 1.0.3* I love the competitive nature of this game and I love thinking that I’m playing actual people and not a computer like in other Nertz apps. But what I don’t like is this horrible lag when trying to pick up cards from your deck and placing them on the board. Sometimes even after placing the card it takes a second for it to process which causes you to lose all rhythm in your play. It can get really frustrating at times and I really hope they fix this. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Fake *2025-01-28, version 1.0.11* Bad rule implementation… can’t split stacks into empty workpiles, forced to call nerts, screen size is very small, fake players who react almost instantly (over 100 online? cmon) etc. ### 1/5 — Don’t do it *2024-09-05, version 1.0.11* This game is a blight on humanity. There are cheaters and bots all over it. If you download it, you will accidentally and irreversibly install malware that will give your device a virus that makes it crash. I got it because we play it at my job but it’s called pounce instead. My only thing is, sometimes when I hit my deck to flip cards, it’s delayed so other people are able to put out before me and I hate that because sometimes it causes me to lose. I think it’s a bug but it’s needs to be fixed ASAP! It was super awesome and free. They just started having ads. I guess they have to make money, somehow. Got my friends and family hooked on this. Yes it’s a bit buggy and yes the ads are annoying but these devs need money to make it better! It’s great that they built in a feedback feature internally. I’ve submitted multiple ideas and they’ve always responded within a reasonable timeframe with great feedback. I’m not convinced I’m playing against real people because who they heck is playing this app besides me. But the ads are killed popping up after ever round and every game. There’s not even a remove ads for 99 cents options. Also some ads will automatically make you leave the app and bring you to the app store, even if you carefully click the X out. I do enjoy all the stats and game history they add. I wish there was a chart of progress over time, like a line graph of the points. ### 3/5 — Addictive, but the app needs improvement *2024-10-30, version 1.0.11* Here’s the thing: I’m obsessed with the game.
