General gameplay: In general, games are played by dragging cards from one pile to another. Depending on your preference, you can also choose to tap the source card followed by its destination (either an empty pile or an existing pile or sequence of cards). In various games, the goal is to gradually build cards on to 'foundation' piles, typically in ascending order with one foundation per suit. Typically, a game will also include a 'tableau' of piles used to organise the cards before they are played on to the foundations. In a few games, the goal is to discard pairs of cards according to a particular rule. To see specific details of the rules and aim of a given game, on-screen instructions are provided: simply press the '?' button to the right of the screen. In most games, you can also press the 'Hint' (light bulb) button to get a turn suggestion at any point during play. Redeals Some games allow 'redeals'. If available, the redeal icon in the top right of the screen will be available. Depending on the game, a redeal will typically of re-shuffling and re-dealing the 'stock' of cards, or dealing extra cards on to the tableau. Would also be nice to have one more pass through the decks for Odd & Even...maybe I could actually win a game. ### 4/5 — Enjoyable *2017-11-24, version 2.5* Had Klondike collection on old iPad which wouldn’t work on my new one. Liked the graphics so looked for a Neil Coffey replacement. My only criticisms of the old game was no undo button, and sometimes didn’t record a better score. This still has no undo capability, but seems to record scores ok. I don’t like the “pretty stars” when you tap a card, but I really do like the graphics otherwise. Plenty of games to try, so no suggestions yet on any more. Get rid of the silly stars, put an undo button on and you get 5 stars! ### 3/5 — Could do (a bit) better. *2016-05-24, version 1.5* Interesting variations on a theme, well presented and with useful hints. This game has both. ### 2/5 — Constructive criticism *2015-08-04, version 1.5* This is a wonderful find - as many solitaire games as you can imagine. However, please improve the very clumsy game play. It's frustrating and preventing me from playing. Also, please put the deck on the right of the screen - most people are right handed and cannot see the screen whilst dealing a new card. ### 3/5 — Not bad but... *2015-05-10, version 1.5* This is a nice collection of solitaire games though I really wish it was also compatible with the iPhone. I find the RNG a bit difficult. I seem to block up more games with this app than my other one. The app really needs an "Undo" button. I also wish the cards could be dragged or swiped (rather than having to click the card you want then click the place you want to put it). When you are learning to play a game, the help dialogue boxes need to stay until you dismiss them or click the "next" arrow. I was reading a box and it disappeared and went to the next one before I was finished. ### 4/5 — Solitaire whizz *2015-02-10* Great game that could use an auto complete feature. Instructions for each game are ok but I wish they could be accessed as a document rather than as pop up screens.
