### 5/5 — Great app

*2013-10-30, version 1.0*

-im ok with no undo button (can't cheat :)
-just learned about shake it for new game :)
-took some getting used to with the new graphics, but now I can't play as fast on the desktop with "cards" :(.... need online version for safari or firefox :) and ability to sign in across devices
- brilliant fresh design, great movement during game

### 4/5 — Well done!

*2013-10-17, version 1.0*

The app is really nicely designed. I really like the little details in animation. Yes there is room to grow, but as is, I am addicted.

Please keep up the good work.

### 5/5 — Pretty, simple, easy, fun

*2013-10-16, version 1.0*

Please continue to update this game! Hoping for more modes

### 5/5 — Awesome!

*2013-10-04, version 1.0*

Amazing design. Incredible gameplay. The best Solitaire game out there. Fits perfectly with the new design of iOS 7. Great work! :)

### 4/5 — great start!

*2013-10-03, version 1.0*

I love the simplicity of this game. No fancy graphics or anything, just pure solitaire. Few little bugs here or there but I am sure they'll be fixed in the next update. Overall: great time waster which I'm finding I'm using more and more.

### 5/5 — Nice design with lots of potential

*2013-10-01, version 1.0*

Beautiful design but needs some refinement like the option to tap instead of just drag the cards to their place. Also needs an undo button in case you make a mistake when you are playing casually. Some sort of "fireworks" when you win would also be a nice touch.

### 4/5 — Beautiful!

*2013-09-24, version 1.0*

Great, fresh appearance. Only lacking ability to play in landscape mode.

### 4/5 — A nice game.

*2013-09-23, version 1.0*

This app is very nice. The only solitaire app to match iOS 7 too which is why I bought it.

however, It would be great if there was an option to have cards instead of just the suit and numbers because it can get cluttered sometimes.

### 4/5 — FreeCell Fans Rejoice As A New Contender Arises

*2013-09-22, version 1.0*

You wake up, take a shower, self gratify yourself, go to work, listen to the inane dribblings of your fellow prisoners, pretend to care about the profit margins of the corporate machine to which you are held captive, try to not to show contempt at your boss's latest wildly racist joke, play FreeCell while he isn't looking, drive home in your run-down car to an unappreciative wife, self gratify yourself, sleep. If you just want to play FreeCell, get this app. It looks better in motion than on the pictures. Points are lost for the sometimes unresponsive slide function and current lack of modes.

### 5/5 — A+++ visuals

*2013-09-22*

At last, a beautifully designed solitaire. Not as feature rich as some, but the sheer beauty makes it worth it. Looking forward to Spider, and left hand support. Keep up the excellent work.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — ?

*2019-01-02, version 2.0.1*

How do u play this game?

### 1/5 — bugs

*2018-10-23, version 2.0.1*

MY old iPad...
YOUR new version...
there are BUGS-- must shutdown & restart every time. please fix.

### 1/5 — Update for worse

*2018-01-25, version 2.0*

I congratulate you for your great update, good job. However, now the app does not work well after the update. I enter a game and when I want to go "backwards" it hangs up. it does not move anything, neither up or down nor for one side or the other. I liked the previous version better. They should look at all the flaws before launching an update!

### 1/5 — It doesn't work

*2017-07-04, version 1.2*

I've never ever seen or downloaded an app like this, it doesn't have anything in it...NOTHING
Play a game and if you lose you have to uninstall all. I think a 10 year old could do better. Or was it a 10 year old.
There are no settings, no x to get out etc etc.
Garbage folks.

### 1/5 — How

*2013-09-26, version 1.0*

I do like the look of the game, however could someone point me in the direction of some rules? What are the cards with a cross through them??

Without knowing how to get rid of these cards the game is pointless

### 2/5 — Great game. Has a few bugs

*2013-10-16, version 1.0*

There are a few bugs such as when I select New Game after I win, there is a glitch and there is also a glitch with the score keeping. Other than that, I love it.

### 2/5 — Okay

*2013-09-22, version 1.0*

I love how it looks but there is no
- Undo
- restart
- reshuffle
Nothing like that please update it please

### 3/5 — Some bugs, but GOOD

*2017-07-08, version 1.2*

I like how simple and BS free this version is. Beautiful and clean looking. Far superior version of Solitaire, even with bugs.

However, I have a few recurring issues that are making my gameplay frustrating. If these bugs can be corrected, I will amend this review.

First, when playing simple klondike, I would work through the draw deck and (seemingly) on the last card in the deck, the little plus sign would grey out and become an x. When this happens, I cannot draw new cards and it will not restack the draw deck. Nothing could change it back to a + sign. I had to close the app and restart to continue playing. This happened often and with no discernible pattern. -1 star there.

Next, I had an agonizingly frustrating experience trying to return to the menu. Again, closing and reopening the app did the trick. After a few days playing, I figured out that there IS a swipe right mechanic to return to the menu. But it worked almost never. Seriously, many many failed swipes until it finally worked for whatever reason. -1 star.

The last point isn't bad enough to lose a star, but I just have to say I learned the controls in the app as well as game rules largely by trial and error. Man, I'm familiar with the games, but I don't have free cell rules memorized by heart. I would love to see a list of controls and game rules somewhere in the menu to avoid confusion like mine for others.

Overall, I really like this app, especially compared to the other versions of Solitaire on the app store. I had to share my experiences, in the hope of making a great app even better. I only meant to offer constructive observations, not to nit pick. 🖖

### 3/5 — Nice design but needs an update

*2014-07-10, version 1.1.1*

This app has a nice clean look yet it still needs an update. First of all I think it needs levels, like easy, medium and hard. Also I think it should have an undo and a hint option. Hopefully you can take these suggestions into consideration…

### 4/5 — Best Solitaire out there

*2013-12-27, version 1.0*

This is the best game of Solitaire out there, really ingenious and stylish design which shows the 'card' values more clearly than any other game, great use of new iOS7 motion controls (wiggly drag and drop, etc).

The only feature I'd like would be an undo, even if only a single move undo?

### 5/5 — Truly nothing quite like it

*2026-02-16, version 2.2*

The only solitaire you will ever need. Has gotten me through tough times. Don’t play too much or you’re gonna start playing full games when you’re trying to fall asleep.

### 5/5 — Best solitaire game on the App Store

*2019-10-25, version 2.1*

Clean look, satisfying animations and feedback and makes other solitaire up one apps look like they’re from the 90s

### 5/5 — Lefty

*2019-04-18, version 2.0.1*

I recommend change the Lefty from Off or On to L or R. That way L is on the left and R on the right. It will make it easier to switch between each.

### 5/5 — This app saved my life.

*2018-07-01, version 2.0.1*

My plane crashed on the 25th of June, 2018.

After spending 35 hours lost in the micro-rainforests of Malawi, I stumbled across a North-African pygmy village. While resting and recovering from my injuries, the village elder approached me with some grave news. A neighbouring cannabalistic tribe of pygmies had recently broke a treaty of peace and was now demanding a human sacrifice. Being an American, I had the blessing (and curse) of being the largest body in the village and thus was selected as the sacrificial lamb. Facing death in the face, I did the only thing I could; challenge the opposing cannibal pygmy chief to a best of 3 in Vegas rules solitaire.

45 stressful minutes passed as the chief and I dragged cards across the sleek-streamlined UI of Solitaire X. The hot African sun caused sweat to drip down onto my screen, but luckily the crisp graphics of this fantastic app allowed me to see through this unforseen blockade.

Ultimately, I survived my ordeal uneaten, having beaten the neighbouring tribe into submission. A statue was constructed in my honour in the center of the tribal village. A statue I'd like to dedicate to the creators of Solitaire X.

### 5/5 — Beautiful solitaire

*2018-01-27, version 2.0*

This app is amazing! As someone who has played solitaire since childhood, this app has made the transition to solitaire on my phone so simple. I love playing it on the subway to work! Thanks

### 5/5 — Crisp, So Very Crisp

*2018-01-25, version 2.0*

You’re looking at THE definitive solitaire app. Since the new update, this app has become so polished that I can see myself smiling in its reflection. The layout is incredibly streamlined. The transitions are so MILKY smooth and very handsome. If you like well designed products and one-handed single-player games... well, this is it. Everything you’ve ever wanted.

### 5/5 — Two Card Draw Please., . Six-Starred. . . Seven ., .

*2017-07-12, version 1.2*

i like it. more visual choice of color, texture, scales, will read quicker for some. edge-awareness pops acquisition rates. like it.

### 5/5 — Spectacular!

*2017-07-05, version 1.2*

Well designed. Minimalist. Does everything that the developer said it would do. + more. For me I like looking at an old game in a new way. Playing it is familiar and very new at the same time. It is challenging in a way I like.

### 5/5 — Nice

*2016-02-28, version 1.1.1*

Nice visual style.
Please add more color customization options and some minimal sound effects?

### 5/5 — Clean and Fun

*2014-05-22, version 1.1*

Really solid app. The interface is clean and well done, and doesn't have all the clutter these apps tend to have. Possibly expanding the game modes to include other card games (i.e. Poker, Hearts, Euchre, etc) would be nice.
