I was expecting a fantasy rogue-like version of a great card game. Even if you think of it as an original game and not a solitaire spinoff the gameplay is so boring. There is practically no strategy at all. I think the devs know this which is why they don’t allow refunds. ### 5/5 — こんなゲームが遊びたかった *2024-05-15* クロンダイクとローグライクを合わせた様なカードゲーム。 他のレビュワーも述べてる通り、英語表記しかない為、筆者の様な日本人にはやや遊びづらい印象を受けるがルール自体はそこまで複雑ではないので、プレイしている内に何となく理解は出来てくる。 内容としては複数あるデッキから一つを選択し、そのデッキに沿った戦術を以てカードゲームでバトルを進行させていくと言った仕様だ。 バトルシステムはクロンダイクをイメージした物でプレイヤーの体験はソリティアを遊んでいる感覚となる。 デッキ毎に異なるスキルが用意されておりバトル終了時に得られるコインを使って新しいスキルやバトルを優位にするアイテムを用意していく。 基本的にはこのバトル→コイントレード→バトル…を繰り返すシンプルなゲームである。 端的に説明すると内容が簡素な印象を持ってしまうと思われるが、ゲーム自体は単純な内容故に奥深い物なので筆者としてはお勧め出来るゲームだ。 国内産ではまず見られない様なゲームを楽しんでみたいと言う方は一度触れてみては如何だろうか。 (2024/5/15 擱筆) ### 5/5 — Great game! *2024-04-30, version 1.1.14* (Devs - Poison needs to be increased to damaging you ever 2 turns!!!) Great for casual play. Light strategy involved in balancing money to use now or save for something better later and powerups needed to win. You power up your deck over time with crystals earned when a run ends (Tip: coins in your hand at the end of the run are converted to gems). ### 4/5 — No landscape mode? *2024-04-19, version 1.1.14* How do you play this on larger devices, some people cannot hold devices in portrait like the iPads due to disabilities. Persevere however, learn about your opponents (yes, even from the sometimes arbitrary descriptions) and as you grow your deck and learn the options available to you, you’ll find an engrossing and quite fun game. The mechanics of this game make me hate the simple rules and themes of solitaire. Don’t waste your time. ### 1/5 — Don’t buy this extremely poorly designed game. *2023-01-18, version 1.1.14* Not only does this game have absolutely nothing to do with strategy of any kind as it is 100% reliant on RNG, the rest of the game is about as shallow as could be. The developers quote obviously only cared about making it look good. The graphics are fine. That is the only thing the game has going for it. You get next to no gold each turn to buy from the smallest pool spells and items I’ve ever seen. Half of the spells and items don’t help you in the game and another quarter of those spells and items are actually entirely useless. If you’re lucky enough to draw one of the few things that are decent, you probably won’t have enough gold to buy it. You also can’t sell things you’ve already bought, leaving you with an inventory full of useless garbage. Stay away, save your money for one of the countless better games on the iOS store. I paid for the app and yes it opens with a page saying that you can buy decks with certain playstyles, but you don’t have to. If you swipe to the right, you will find one given to you and the other three of those same decks available - you’ll just need to play to earn a currency to buy those different playstyles. It’s well worth just trying out the first deck to even understand the mechanics of the game (it is like a roguelite) before you decide to pay for the other decks or just continue with the one given/earn your way to the other decks. Otherwise - Really enjoyable and interesting mechanics of the game! Simple but there’s an element of randomness that makes it more difficult. I also really enjoy the art style. I think the medieval but also whimsical designs make the game just that bit more interesting and fun to play.
