## What is Solo Poko?

Can you outwit the deck and survive all 12 rounds and beyond?

Solo Poko is a fast, satisfying solo card strategy game built around poker hands. Each round challenges you to hit a score target using just a handful of plays. Pick the right cards, build the best hands, and spend your winnings wisely in the shop — before the next boss arrives.

HOW IT WORKS
Draw from a shuffled deck. Select up to 5 cards to play as a poker hand — from High Card to Royal Flush. Score enough points to clear the round target and keep going. Run out of plays without hitting the target, and the run ends.

Unlock permanent upgrades that amplify specific hand types across the whole run

Special round modifiers kick in after Round 10: Jackpot, Gauntlet, Joker Frenzy, and others
Jokers act as wild cards to complete any hand

## Version history (last 2 releases)

### 1.1 — 2026-08-03

What's New

Veteran Start
Lost a run you were proud of? Pick up right where you fell — same
round, same build, same upgrades. One resume per run, so make it
count. (Resumed runs sit out the leaderboard.)

Nest Egg
Leftover shop points used to vanish when you moved on. Not anymore.
Arm a Nest Egg in the shop and everything you didn't spend carries
into the next round — bank up for the big purchase you've had your
eye on.

Giant Slayer
A new upgrade built for the fights that end runs. Every third round
is a boss round, and Giant Slayer hits them for +50% and +30 bonus
points. Boss rounds are where most runs die — now you can plan for it.

Bigger Joker Frenzy
Joker Frenzy now stacks the deck with 4 Jokers instead of 2, for
wilder combos and bigger swings. Jokers now correctly leave the deck
when the round ends.

Shop Rebalance
Extra Hand, Extra Discard, Target Reduction, and Point Insurance have
all been repriced based on how much they're actually worth, so more
of the shop is worth buying.
