## What is Soloist Ear Training & Pitch?

Soloist Ear Training is a focused daily practice loop for musicians who want to recognize what they hear and understand what to work on next.

Practice with intervals, chord qualities, scales, modes, progressions, rhythm, functional scale degrees, and melodic dictation. The melody library contains 98 graded lessons drawn from verified public-domain music, so dictation sounds like music instead of a random-note exercise.

MAKE EACH MISS USEFUL

After an incorrect answer, replay the target beside your answer, hear the difference, and retry that same confusion pair immediately. Soloist schedules future review item by item using your local practice history.

ANSWER ON SCREEN, SING, OR PLAY

Compatible pitch drills can listen to a sung or played response. Grading is confidence-gated: if the signal is too quiet, unstable, or incomplete, Soloist shows Not Graded and leaves your progress unchanged. Microphone audio is processed on your device and discarded after the question.
