## What is Solstice?

Recovery does not follow a single path. Solstice: Recovery Tracker gives you a calm, private place to track a personal change, reflect on how today feels, and keep support within reach—without rankings, pressure, or shame.

CHOOSE YOUR OWN APPROACH

Create one or more goals for alcohol or other substances, or define a custom goal in your own words. Choose abstinence, reduction, or a custom approach. Select language that feels right to you, including recovery, sobriety, alcohol-free, or a neutral “my goal.”

SEE PROGRESS WITH CONTEXT

View your current duration, start date, calendar-aware milestones, personal milestones, and private journey timeline. Optional estimates for money, time, or consumption avoided appear only from baseline values you enter. If you record a lapse, you can keep the same journey or begin a new chapter without erasing what came before.

Keep a private collection of milestone coins with distinct materials and colors. Tap a coin for an optional three-dimensional spin, or enjoy a still view with Reduce Motion. Earlier earned coins stay in your collection when you begin a new chapter. Coins for reduction and custom goals mark journey time, not abstinence or treatment outcomes.

CHECK IN, YOUR WAY

Record any combination of mood, urge intensity, sleep, stress, confidence, triggers, protective actions, and a private note. Every field is optional. With enough selected entries, the app can describe patterns by stress, sleep, trigger, weekday, or time of day. These are associations in your entries—not diagnoses or medical conclusions.

FIND SUPPORT IN THE MOMENT

Open a pause timer, paced breathing, grounding, your personal reasons, contacts you choose, or a coping plan written in your own words. U.S. crisis and treatment-referral resources are kept separate from optional Solstice information. The app is not monitored and cannot respond to emergencies.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN

No account is required. In the iOS app, recovery information is kept in an encrypted on-device record. There are no ads, tracking, or analytics services. Optional app lock, neutral local reminders, JSON and CSV export, selective milestone sharing, and complete in-app deletion remain under your control. Core tracking and coping tools work without contacting Solstice.

OPTIONAL PROFESSIONAL SUPPORT

If you choose, you can view verified contact and location information for Solstice Counseling & Wellness Centers. Using the app does not enroll you in care or make you a Solstice client, and the app is not connected to a clinical record.

Solstice: Recovery Tracker is a general self-management and reflection tool. It does not diagnose, monitor, prevent, or treat a condition; provide detoxification or medication guidance; replace professional care; or provide emergency monitoring. If you or someone else is in immediate danger or having a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. In the United States, call or text 988 for crisis support.
