## Most critical reviews (9 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — The app is useless

*2026-05-12*

Tried it on multiple devices and different networks. The app asks for library location/code and can’t ever get past the first page.

### 1/5 — Pretty useless

*2025-07-18, version 2025.24*

Doesn’t recognise my credentials. I have checked them with my local library but I can’t access via the app.

### 1/5 — Don’t bother

*2025-03-22, version 2025.1.1*

One of the worst apps I’ve ever used, keeps kicking me out of sessions, shows books in the list that have been returned and when I try to update the list, it goes back to login page again.

### 1/5 — What the heck

*2023-12-11*

This app is horrible. I couldn’t even sign in, the app is quite atrocious and the experience was awful

### 1/5 — What an ugly app

*2023-05-06*

I just can’t get over how hard ugly this app is. Simple stuff. Align your icons with your text. Scale them for the screen. Pick a font scheme that works. Try more than one color.

Integration with Libby is pretty rudimentary. Be nice to beef that up.

Sorry.

### 2/5 — Basic stuff, doesn't support existing lists

*2025-01-25*

Can't really blame Denver library system for choosing this if budget is the concern. But a web wrapper would have been better because it doesn't support basic functions like saving to an existing list, seeing your existing lists, and doesn't support notifications like when your hold is ready. So I'll use the mobile website instead because that at least supports my lists.

### 2/5 — Disappointing

*2024-02-27, version 2024.5*

My librarian confirmed my PIN and gave me a new liberty card with its barcode clearly printed on the back.

I logged in using these credentials to the Libby app successfully, but Solus just tells me:

“ Sorry, we didn't recognise your credentials. Please try again.”

Just when I thought my new hi tech relationship with my library was going to a really nice experience, once again, technology lets me down.

Perhaps my local authority has run out of cash thanks to the ludicrous way this country is now run.

### 4/5 — Really useful app

*2021-07-26, version 2019.5*

We’ve found this so useful for reserving kids books and renewing when needed. It’s also great to have a list of all the books you have on loan and to keep track of when they are due back.

I would really like to see a “wish list” option for books I’d like to read next that I don’t want to reserve, but do want to remember!

### 5/5 — Easy app to use

*2025-04-28*

It’s really good at all the basic functions like check out, place hold etc.
