Now you can’t easily create shortcuts to stations, and when you use Siri Suggestions to create one (luck or the draw) it doesn’t work. Otherwise a great app. ### 5/5 — My favorite radio and app *2025-04-15, version 1.17.1* I've been using this amazing internet radio (mostly on my pc) for over ten years and the people who DJ for any given station are always so dedicated and amazing. There are never any ads or anything even listening freely, giving a few bucks for this app was a no brainer. Of course, I’ve donated over time (no ads but can donate to support) but it is free, no real pressure to do so. The sheer variety of stations is unmatched, there really is something for everyone. TIP: Add your favorite stations (or stations you think you’ll like). Now ‘track skip’ will move only between your favorite stations. Its amazing the music apps paid or not that dont have this. Was literally listening to the app, saw there was an update, paused SomaFM, installed system update, and now app just buffers. ### 1/5 — Problem with the latest version (1.13)! *2023-12-13, version 1.13.0* The latest version broke the Chrome cast feature. Now you can’t cast any station to a Chrome cast device without this app being the active app and the device being turned on! That defeats the whole purpose of using Chrome cast. Also, the song listing only starts showing those after you start playing. Previously it shows all the past played tracks regardless when you start streaming. I regret updating to this version and wish I could downgrade to the previous version (1.12)!!! They have so many radio stations it’s sometimes hard to choose which one I want to listen to at night.
