Alright so great app, my mentors a really nice guy, but I have one suggestion: could you make it so whenever I’m off app and I click on a notification, the app doesn’t reload and I can see the messages instantly, especially if I just closed the app a minute or two earlier?

I love the app and I wish I could use it! But unfortunately I live in a state that it’s not available in! I do wish it was available to all 50 states.

Noah is a great mentor I found out on this app on TikTok. I lied about my age on the app and said I was 15. Yes this app is 13+ but that shouldn’t stop me from talking to a mentor younger younger children need help and support. I am asking you to you as in the owners to lower the age limit

This is a great app and the quiz is pretty cool! I love the video thing when you first open the app, it makes me feel really welcomed! The phone number option made it easy to sign up! One suggestion though, could you make the "What is your state part more accessible to where it is in a drop-down box or list format? The search button doesn't seem to be working very well either.

i saw this on a random tiktok & was very skeptical; but after getting it i’ve realized this app is amazing. me & my mentor literally connect SO WELL, at first i was scared to really talk to them, but now they are the person i tell legit everything to. this app is completely free too which i think is a great thing & it’s built extremely well. 10/10 for sure.

I just wanted to say how much I really love this app. As a teenager going through a lot right now, it’s honestly been one of the few things that’s made me feel seen, supported, and not alone. Having a mentor who actually listens and gives real advice has changed so much for me. It’s not always easy to open up, but my mentor made it feel safe. They’ve helped me think clearer, feel more confident, and reminded me that what I’m going through matters — and that I can get through it.

i honestly can not be happier, i have actual free help and can get it without worry. they match you to your vibe and it’s honestly just what i needed and has genuinely helped me. i go to therapy in person but sometimes that’s not enough, i can connect and talk to them on my own time without judgement. i have the sweetest mentor, and this is the biggest step for
help i’ve ever taken. thank you somthings app

I saw an ad for this on TikTok and I was like oh this might actually be a good investment of my time because I feel left out all the time and sometimes my mental health isn’t great and then I was making an account and it asked me for a code I didn’t know I needed and now I can’t make an account

It only gives you the option for a phone number. Some teens cannot use their phone numbers or texts because they could be monitored, or other reasons. I couldn’t even use the app because of this reason. I wish we could use Telegram, or Discord, or even just Emails. This app seems nice though. And I went through the entire match process until I had to back out and not do it. I was so sad because I really liked who I matched with as well, my mentor I mean. But I can’t do anything because I can’t text over the phone. This seems like a great app regardless

At first it wasn’t available to teens without parent consent and money wise but after it was free it’s not really what I expected I’ve never been to therapy but if this is how therapy is then it’s not worth it they just ask u questions and not actually help about what ur going through it’s like a therapist ai. If u want to try it out it’s only a venting app

So, at the start I really loved this app, and my mentor and I hit it off. He had to eventually leave because of personal reasons, so I was trying to rematch with other mentors. Every. Single. One. of them sounds like my old mentor, so I am extremely weirded out. Can someone explain please?

I really do enjoy this app, my mentor is really sweet and it’s helpful but lately I’ve had an issue. I’ll take it as a bug in the app because my phone is fine and every other app loads. I still get notifications fine, but when I try to open the app it won’t load and gets stuck on the screen when you first click the app!! Again, I would think it’s me but since everything else is fine it’s probably the app.

i told my mentor that i wasnt in north carolina and that i just really needed someone to talk to , and they discontinued my conversation and account. besides that , really good concept i just NEED them to add more states.

i remember downloading this app before months ago and deleting it, but i saw another ad for it and decided to try again. It told me that my insurance doesnt support it, just from me entering my phone number?? i dont have insurance anyway, but why would it need insurance if its 100% free like the ads say? i say thats false advertisement right there. however, i did join the waitlist and im hoping this issue gets fixed because i really wanna try it out.

this app is literally so amazing. i personally think all teens should have this because it genuinely helps so much. having a mentor is such a helpful thing because you can talk to them about literally everything. parents if you feel your kids need a little extra support (which is totally normal) definitely download this for them. its a great way for them to be able to talk about things that they may mot be comfortable sharing with a parent. i LOVE this app sm. its literally like having an older sibling. you can rant, get advice or in general just chat. 100% recommend for all teens.

Overall, I can get into the app just fine. I just have a small suggestion. I needed to edit my account, to rematch with a mentor, but I was not able to do so, so I kind of deactivated the account and tried to create a new one. All of that to figure out I couldn’t and it let me sign back in with a different mentor who messaged me. I don’t know what the mentor is like since I’m totally new, but I thought that it would be lovely to let teens or those who aren’t mentors for ‘Somethings’ create personal profiles just like the mentors do as well as being able to go back and edit, I think that is probably the point of the questions for matching, but it’d be pretty dope to have that as well as being able to choose our own mentors, because when you swap through a lot of them it chooses the same few people again and again until you choose between those few (2-3 people, I mean). I think I’ll love the app, either way. 🪷

Something’s is such an amazing app. Been super busy so I haven’t been able to use it a ton, but always been a outlet when needed. AND COMPLETELY FREE? HELLO? One thing, I do wish you could see like a list of mentors you could choose from, but everything else is spot. On.

I just got it yesterday and started using it today, but it is AWESOME, my mentor is the best, and the short quiz you complete when you just download the app works GREAT! There are a few minor uncomfortable details like the fact that each mentor has up to 35 kids makes it a bit harder to get feedback since they often have to leave to respond to others, but it’s not so bad. There are a few uncomfortable factors in the messaging like the fact that you can only respond to a message once and the set up when you edit a message; there isn’t y really a button to like submit the edited version? So you just have to click all over the screen hoping it submits itself magically… I still love the app and will probably never leave it, although it is my first day using it I know I will stay and recommend it to many people!!!!
