## What is SoMic?

SoMic turns a rough idea into a finished post.

Say it out loud for twenty seconds, or paste a note. SoMic shapes it
into a carousel you can edit — or into a caption, a thread, a LinkedIn
post, or a script for your short video.

It writes in your voice, not in the flat register every AI writes in
by default. Tell it once who you write for and how you sound, and it
holds that.

The editor is a real design surface: templates that fit your text
instead of overflowing it, photos, type controls, custom fonts. Export
images or a PDF, free.

SoMic Pro adds the seamless canvas — one artwork running across the
whole carousel, so a headline can cross the gap between two slides —
video on a slide, Cinematic export of the whole deck as a 1080×1920
video, and AI generation beyond the free trial.

### 5/5 — I love the design and ease of use🫧 The design inspires ideas for posts!

*2026-09-05*

Oh wow! This app is absolutely amazing! I’ve been waiting for something like this for so long because I really wanted to cut down on the amount of time I spend coming up with ideas and creating content. It’s also incredibly inconvenient to use a bunch of different apps for different tasks just to make a single post. This app solved all of my problems! I’m deleting all those useless editing apps and keeping only this one! And the design and interface of the app are a work of art in their own right.

Top idea, Bro)))

**Developer response:** Thank you!

## Version history (last 2 releases)

### 1.1 — 2026-09-05

A rebuilt subscription screen — one seamless artwork across the top,
and everything you need to decide in one look.

Onboarding now shows what Pro actually does: one artwork running
across every slide, and a video clip living on a slide.

Opening a post from your Library now grows out of the card you tapped.

Fixes: the editor no longer jumps sideways when you tap a video on a
Story, and signing in from the paywall no longer asks you to buy Pro
you already own.

### 1.0 — 2026-09-01

No release notes.
