I’ve been hooked ever since. I’ve been into wine for about 10 years now but really started enjoying learning about how it’s made, trying as many as I can, and pairing them with food. SOMM TV is fun, entertaining, and educational. I appreciate that we get the content from the horses mouth, ie. the actual winemakers, producers, somms, etc.. Keep it coming! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Bad customer service *2020-01-06* They continued charging me for the service after I cancelled the subscription. I contacted them and asked politely for a refund and they told me they would not refund my money. Probably best to avoid subscribing. ### 1/5 — A resounding flop *2019-11-17* After paying a lot of money for this, I came to the realisation that there’s a vastly superior bank of wine/alcohol related documentaries on Amazon Prime which not only charges the same price but gives you hundreds of movies and other topics to choose from! Perhaps in a couple of years this app will be worth it but at the moment, a total waste of money and would snap my money back in a heart beat! Sorry guys but for what you’re charging and the tiny amount of ‘useful’ content you have, I give your app 1 star! I was hoping for dedicated series like Uncorked and new up to date content on things like tasting tutorials and vastly more films on different producers and regions etc! ### 2/5 — Sous titres décevant. *2020-02-20* Ligne de code à la place des sous-titres sur le SommTV sur ordinateur. He some how finds a way to work in how amazing he is and what he’s done for the industry, surprisingly into every episode. In his own right he has done so much and SOMM movies and tv is amazing but geez we are already here, we bought the subscription we get it. Other than that being annoying as a avid podcast listener! This is amazing and a must have for anyone interested in wine! ### 4/5 — Love the content *2022-08-10* SommTV offers premium content for every wine lover, regardless of your knowledge or experience with win or the industry. The shows and documentaries they produce are both educational and entertaining, making them a perfect pairing with a glass of wine. My only complaint is that I wish new content rolled out more frequently. Though, at only $50 per year, there is already tremendous value in what is currently offered.
