I am someone who prefers to drink the same four wines but this app is helping me explore new varieties that I might like and takes the guesswork out of wine shopping. Plus, I have a pretty unique palate, and the personalized pairing recommendations have been spot on for my favorite meals. Highly recommend!

I’ve tried a lot of wine apps, but Sommate honestly feels like having a personal sommelier in your pocket!

The app itself is super intuitive. Clean layout, easy flow, and everything just makes sense from the moment you open it. One of my favorite features is the camera pairing tool. Being able to scan a wine list or menu and instantly get pairing recommendations is a game changer, especially at restaurants when you don’t want to pretend you know what “notes of tobacco and blackberry” means. 😂

What really sets Sommate apart is that it doesn’t feel like another generic AI chatbot. The personalization gets better the more you use it, and the suggestions feel curated to you.

I am not a sommelier, but Sommate makes me feel like I have one in my pocket. Before this app, ordering or picking a wine was always a guessing game unless you happened to be at a high-end restaurant with someone on staff who actually knew what they were talking about. Now I do not have to rely on anyone else to make that call for me.
The pairings are spot on and it has genuinely changed the way I approach a meal. Whether I am cooking at home or out at a restaurant, I know exactly what I am looking for and why. I have discovered wines I never would have reached for on my own and every single one has been a great experience.

This app has everything you need to learn more about how to pick great wines and continue to find favorites! I love the ability to take a picture of my menu to have recommended parings. It also teaches you how to think like an expert wine drinkers! 10/10 I recommend for all wine drinkers
