They've obviously spent ages writing the blurb and making it sound great but only moments designing the app. Absolute rubbish. The sound in the room does not seem to be displayed on the screen unless the room is fairly quiet. 2. The frequency scale is only linear and can't be changed to log. Zero to 4 kHz occupies 20% of the linear scale. 3. You can't select line display, only vertical bars. 4. The pinch-zooming and panning are extremely sensitive. To the point that the app looses functionality and becomes frustrating to use. One would think that landscape mode would help a little bit, but the app just clips the display so you cannot identify the dominant frequency. Why would you design a sound app that you can't use with your own music?...to make a quick 99cents that's why. 90% of the people looking for this want to see their own music play. The setting is useful and pinch control is a nice touch. The codec is impressive too. Deduct 1star because the labels on x-axis of the spectrum analyzer is not very helpful in determining the exact frequency and there is no label on the y-axis which should be in dB. It doesn't work yet. You will get an app with bars that somewhat jump to incoming noise or sound. Definitely in no way anywhere near to what one expects from a spectrum analyzer.
