Any idea how to fix this? I suppose I’m a bit unique, in that my library contains a lot of music I’ve written and recorded for various local musical productions and projects over many years. Obviously the listens for these way outdo anything else in my library. To not appear a total narcissist it would be quite nice if I could exclude myself and my music from the stats! Also I’d quite like to know how popular the artists I listen to are in the great scheme of things, and how my listens contribute to a musician’s success. So how about a YT-style listen count, eg (my listens)/(total Apple Music listens) - 400/40m! That kind of thing. Ultimately, these sort of stats will elevate Apple Music to the Spotify credibility that it deserves. It’d’ve been nice if ABBA were boasting about Dancing Queen getting a billion plays on Apple Music, and not Spotify! ### 2/5 — Song totals out of wack *2025-03-31, version 8.999* Used to work flawlessly. Recently tho, when putting my parameters as only wanting to see what I’ve listened to from the start of the calendar year until now, it’s including all plays from any song for all time. I’ll change the rating if this gets fixed ### 4/5 — Cool Not Accurate *2025-02-27, version 8.999* I had high hopes for this app bcuz I love their Geography apps. I buy them all! This one started fine, however I’ve since realized it’s extremely inaccurate. Play numbers are wrong more often than right. May not be a problem for most people who are simply curious, but I need it for work. If they could clean that up, I’d definitely subscribe. Also I haven’t found a way to contact support. Been using this app for a long time now with the purchase level. Im writing this to ask the developers to integrate the new siri functions for ios 27 coming out. And to continue- continuous improvement on the code, specifically for speed and crashes. For the year I’ve used it, it has been completely accurate and what I love about it is that it also shows music you have imported onto your Apple Music. One small issue I have with it is that I would really like to see the amount of time, in minutes, I listened to music in a given week. I’m pretty sure this is possible as the app knows how long all of the songs are but I’m not a programmer and it may be harder than it looks. I disagree with the reviewer who called it “cool but not accurate.” I’m a data junkie when it comes to my music. Play counts, in particular, are very important to me. Song Stats does a great job with that info. Anytime I’ve compared its counts to my OS Apple Music app, they’re identical. It may take a beat for a play count to register in SS, but usually never more than a couple of minutes after I’ve played the song on whatever device. I love Apple Music for its data and flexibility - so much better than Spotify in that regard. This app does an amazing job parsing all that data and - crucially - making it available on my phone since the iOS Apple Music app is limited in that regard. ### 5/5 — Great app! *2025-01-21, version 8.999* Recent reviews are misleading the actual review of this app. I believe that it is really great. For context I had it for three years and it made me feel more connected with my music lol. The free version and you get a lot but the paid version you also get other features like pie charts and graphs.
