## What is Songbook Simple?

Songbook simple is exactly that - a simple songbook for your iPad. Getting tired on carrying around books and paper and trying to find that song you're looking for?

Tired of trying to switch pages in the middle of a song?  Use MIDI to control page position.  Either with program change, note off, or control change messages.

Alternatively, use one-tap paging to scroll the content to pre-defined page boundaries that you can set yourself.  Never fumble around to find your place in the song again.

* Playlists:  Save set lists for easy recall when you get to your gig.

FREE TO USE: includes a few songs for you to see how straightforward the app is. You can also copy-paste text into the app to add your own songs.  While viewing a song you can then edit them from the toolbar.

The real power in this app is syncing it to your Dropbox account, where you can manage all your song documents on your PC and just sync with dropbox in one click.

I don’t know why that other user gave us a one out of five. This is a free app that is super intuitive and lets you input your songs as either copy and paste or by adding actual images. This app also facilitates syncing between devices as well as emailing yourself a .zip file. I never knew I would use that zip file feature, but I’ve recently needed to import my set list and this feature worked perfectly. Does it show my list it also opens up on other platforms and devices. The layout is good and you can tell someone who is a musician made. This thing I haven’t used too many songbook apps because this one just did the trick for me. There may be extra bells and whistles for some paid versions of other apps but for me a guy who gigs at least 100 times a year this is great just thought y’all should know the one star doesn’t represent the app very well.

Hard to use, can’t add anything to texts if they’re PDF. A scribble option could be useful in some cases to add notes to a song. App keeps on crashing when you make set lists, crashed 4 times tonight, no reason it should… This using  a recent 2019 gen ipad.

Loyal users,

I'm basically declaring this product at its end of life.  As such, I don't want to leave anyone out in the cold, but I don't intend to do anything other than stability updates anymore, and they won't be very often.

**Therefore, I've made the entire app and all its functionality free for use and all paywalls have been removed.**
