### 4/5 — Loving it

*2026-09-04*

I looked for a long time for an app that could consolidate all my tabs, chord charts, Real Book pages, screenshots, etc into one cross-device platform. This has met all those wishes very well.
Complaints? Sync is somewhat unreliable, but by using Backup/Restore, I have learned to avoid the Sync pitfalls. Editing can be a little clunky, the desktop version works best in the built-in web server. The import from Ultimate Guitar is great, but will consistently skip their “official” versions, usually my preferred versions. When that happens, I have found it easiest to just copy and paste from the UG website.
But overall, I am super-happy with this app. For a low, low $7, I have so much more control and portability of my portfolio of music. The setlist function is great, the search function is fabulous. The ability to give everything a consistent look is great.
I shopped for over a year before choosing this product and on balance, I really love it.

### 2/5 — Falta suporte

*2026-08-20*

Parou de fazer busca na única página que realmente nos dava resultados e agora estamos sem suporte, pois não te,os retorno nenhum. Bora atualizar o app galera ajuda nós aí.

### 3/5 — Developer Inaction Disappointing

*2026-08-16*

I had some issues with the app that I couldn’t find solutions for online so I contacted the developer in February. I got a confirmation “Thank you for your interest in SongbookPro, this is an automated conformation email but a developer will respond to your query shortly”.
No follow-up so I re-sent the message in April.
Still no follow-up so I re-sent the message in June.
It’s now August and still no follow-up so I’ve given up.
Too bad, I really like the App but the issues I’m having make it unusable in certain instances so I’ve moved on.

### 4/5 — Works Great

*2026-08-14*

How long will it take, until SongBookPro, starts charging a Yearly or Monthly fee to keep using this APP?

### 5/5 — Love it!

*2026-07-31, version 25.1.13*

I am a long time user of UG and still love it but SBP has been a game changer for me. Thank you.
I love being able to sync my charts and sets via one master device and update my other devices from it using the “no push”syncing option.
Assigning different colors to verses, choruses etc help me from getting lost when I move my eyes away and then back again.
Suggestions:
1)Find and replace chords during edit sessions.
2)Chord symbols as per iReal pro like circle for diminished, triangle for major 7, + augmented etc.

### 5/5 — Super app

*2026-07-31, version 25.1.13*

Songbook pro is a super app for musicians, especially guitarists. You can download tons of songs off internet including ultimate guitar, both chord charts for easy use at open mic, and sometimes guitar tab for learning songs. You can also download pdfs of stuff you’ve composed. You can scroll songs in real time, adjust tempo, change keys with a fingertip, adapt for capo, edit if you want to change some of the chords or spacing of lyrics for scrolling, and create song lists for gigs that go to next song with a finger swipe. You can even link with Spotify if you want to hear song or play along. Truly an amazing app!!!

### 5/5 — The best out there!!

*2026-07-27, version 25.1.13*

### 4/5 — Best app.

### 5/5 — ★★★★★ An Outstanding App That Could Become the Best

*2026-07-25, version 25.1.13*

SongbookPro has become one of the most valuable tools I use for my music ministry. It makes it easy to search for songs on Spotify, import lyrics and chords, organize everything into setlists, and practice whenever I have time. It has helped me build a growing collection of hymns and worship songs for both my church services and my online ministry.

The app is intuitive, reliable, and keeps everything organized in one place. Instead of managing notebooks, printed chord sheets, and multiple files, I can keep my music library with me wherever I go. It has become an essential part of my preparation and practice.

The only feature I wish SongbookPro included is YouTube integration. I also use another app called Chord AI Pro, and one feature I really appreciate is its ability to search YouTube. When I find a song there that isn’t available elsewhere, Chord AI Pro can generate a lyrics and chord sheet from the recording. I can then copy that chart into SongbookPro, and the two apps work wonderfully together.

If SongbookPro added YouTube search and the ability to generate chord and lyric sheets from YouTube recordings, it would truly become an all-in-one solution. Those two features would make an already excellent app even more complete and incredibly valuable for musicians, worship leaders, and anyone who enjoys learning new songs.

Thank you to the developers for creating such a thoughtful and dependable app. It has been a real blessing to my ministry, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an excellent way to organize, practice, and perform their music.

### 5/5 — Great App!

*2026-07-25, version 25.1.13*

I’ve been using SongbookPro for many years. It’s fantastic. Easy to load songs from the internet. Easy to edit songs. Easy to make playlists and sort the lists. Nice clear chords to read over the lyrics. Let’s you change the key of the song if you want. I’ve been using this app on my iPad for about a decade. Mostly used to use for my solo acoustic gig. Now using for a duo gig and jam sessions with friends. It has really gotten better over time. They fixed some of the earlier kinks. Love this app. Use it all the time. Like tonight! Thought it was time I posted an updated review. A+++

### 5/5 — Great app!

*2026-07-23, version 25.1.13*

This app makes it so easy to play so many songs. I love the color options for different song sections and how it integrates with a foot pedal to advance pages. Great stuff.

### 5/5 — Outil au top !

*2026-07-22*

### 5/5 — Excellent.

*2026-07-20*

Feature suggestion

Hi,

Firstly, thank you for creating such a great app. I’ve recently moved to Songbook Pro and have been really impressed with how flexible it is, particularly for live performance.

While exploring Settings → Personalisation, I noticed the option to create additional heading styles using + Add more. I assumed this meant I could create custom headings (for example Note) for performance directions such as:

* Quiet Intro
* Band In
* Stop
* Capo 2
* Acoustic Only

After a bit of investigation (including asking the Songbook Pro AI), I discovered that this isn’t currently possible from ChordPro.

Would it be possible to add support for custom heading directives in a future version? It would be a really useful way to distinguish performance notes from normal section headings like Verse and Chorus.

Even if it’s something you’ve already considered, I’d just like to say thanks again for an excellent app.

Cheers.

### 5/5 — Perfect for my use in the band

*2026-07-20, version 25.1.13*

I’ve used SongbookPro for several years now, and couldn’t ask for more. I use PDF notation files that I have created or downloaded & modified, then upload to a file sharing service to share with band members and my own resource pool. In Songbook
Pro, I store music that we play in the “All Songs” folder, and move files in and out of set lists that I create, as needed. I can make notes in the notation pages during rehearsals.

That’s how I use the app, but there’s much more to it. I play rhythm & solo guitar in an Irish-Americana band. Love this app, and it’s much more cost-effective than others.

### 3/5 — Songs

*2026-07-17, version 25.1.13*

### 5/5 — So good

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Don’t import e-chords

*2026-08-09*

Please fixing

### 1/5 — Horrible

*2026-06-09, version 25.1.13*

Glad I didn’t go to the pro version, way to complicated no instructions

### 1/5 — Not working on iOS

*2026-06-02, version 25.1.13*

This used to be good and reliable but it’s no longer. I can’t select any of my songs the app just freezes.

### 1/5 — Really buggy app

*2026-05-28, version 25.1.13*

I don’t understand where all these glowing reviews are coming from when there’s a whole facebook page about the bugs. I have repeatedly tried to access my ukelele group through the groups portion of the app and when I try to log into that I just get a repeating circle. We’ve paid for the app to be able to share songs. I have tried to delete the app and reinstall, closed anything open on my IOS device, downloaded the latest version etc. At one point it locked me out because it said I tried too many times. I’ve never seen anything like it. No support either which has. wen reported by many users having similar problems…

### 1/5 — No iTunes or Apple Music

*2026-05-14, version 25.1.13*

Will not play iTunes Apple Music songs! This is the only service I use and have thousands of songs! Please update to use iTunes and Apple Music

### 1/5 — No tech support?

*2026-05-11, version 25.1.13*

I’m trying to figure out to get SongbookPro to let me play along with a song out of my Apple Music library. The AI bot is not helpful at all. The tech support links don’t exist. I’m ok if I need to purchase the full version in order to get this feature to work. I would just like to know that the play along feature will work before I spend the money. Sorry for the negative review. It seems to be the only way to reach out directly to the developer.

### 1/5 — They are scam

*2026-04-17, version 25.1.12*

They charged me without my intention and there is no place to cancel the payment or contact support, not recommended!

### 1/5 — Groups is not working at all, across devices

*2026-03-26, version 25.1.12*

Groups was the main reason I went with SongbookPro. I’ve invested a lot of time formatting the songs for the group. And I can’t do anything with any of it now. Disappointed that I may have to start over with another app.

### 1/5 — If it ain’t broke don’t fix it!

*2026-03-26, version 25.1.12*

Songbook pro used to be good and simple, I’ve left OnSong because they’ve added too many features and it made it buggy and a subscription

No Songbook has been disconnecting and giving me error when I try to sign in to “Group”

This hasn’t been fixed for few months now - please fix asap - or I will have to find another app to use

### 1/5 — Price

*2026-03-12, version 25.1.12*

Can’t even buy it it won’t let me

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Awesome app

*2026-09-09*

Been using SBP for over 2 years on my iPad, phone and computer. Not one issue. No more carrying around binders of music. Easy for find music online and incorporate into a set list on the fly. Great for gigs with setlists and searches. Excellent for venues with uncertain lighting. I use the black background with white txt. Enlarge txt on the fly with a 2 finger gesture. Even with sight issues I can continue playing thanks to this app.

### 5/5 — Parou de funcionar

*2026-08-30*

Aplicativo parou de buscar músicas on-line no E-Chord.com
Dar erro! Corrijam pfvr

### 5/5 — Taken me a while

*2026-08-29*

I downloaded this as all my Ukey pals seemed to have it and were seamlessly switching from one song to another without endless hunting for it. No crumpled bits of paper flying away at outdoor gigs ever again!
It took me a while to understand how to get the songs into it.
The main problem was that all my songs were on paper - how did I transfer from that to digital?
I tried downloading whole books of songs thinking I was by-passing the issue of individual songs and crashed the app. Several times. I am at least persistent.
In the end I abandoned it, using the Photos App and arranging music into folders that way. For years.
And then I sat next to someone at a group practice, using SongBook Pro and suddenly understood how it worked! How it could change keys! A revelation.
I am, at the moment, using both Photos and SongBook Pro but gradually moving stuff into SBP.
It takes time and I have a LOT of songs!
Don’t give up! Really useful
app.

### 5/5 — Does everything I need

*2026-08-20, version 25.1.13*

Import PDFs, keep lists, add notes, sync with other devices

### 5/5 — The key to my solo adventure

*2026-08-17, version 25.1.13*

This app keeps me on track. At 50+ years old I can’t imagine how I could memorize all of these songs. Songbook Pro puts my whole catalog right at my fingertips. It’s easy to share across all of my devices, so I’m always ready for anything.

### 5/5 — Exactly what a relatively new player needs

*2026-08-16, version 25.1.13*

Excellent. I don’t usually write reviews but this app got me back into practicing guitar and was a big part of giving me the confidence to play and sing in front of people. The different keys and ability to capo are easy to use and are a Godsend. Thank you to the makers of this app

### 5/5 — AWESOME!!!!!!!

*2026-08-06, version 25.1.13*

Wish you were around in the late 60’s would be better than using your LP trying to figure out cords and lyrics

### 5/5 — Simple and All I Need

*2026-08-01*

I've used other chord chart apps in the past (OnSong and Song One aka Songs), and while those had their bright spots, they tried to do too much and were always focusing on things I wasn't doing (syncing multiple iPads, syncing with video and audio). At times they were either buggy or required weird menu paths to do basic things. I just wanted a chart app that made editing and organizing my charts easy, with enough customization to enjoy the format on the screen as I play and good connection to a bluetooth page turner. This app does wonderful at that. The normal common things it does in a very intuitive way. It's easy to organize a large collection, create set lists, order repeated parts, etc. My favorite feature is the ability to use a browser over WIFI to quickly edit charts. That is a game changer. All that for a reasonable one time purchase, and this app is a no-brainer!! Buy it!
