Great idea, nice if it actually worked. Touch points don't work most of the time, show finder is a disaster.

Muddy touch points, arduous account creation/ login process. Needs to allow use of other auth source. Show Finder needs badly to be refined. By the time I get to search for bars, I am ready to close the app. The premise is right; even some of the interfaces have merit. But if you cannot get through the process of finding bars and songs a bit faster, it is a loss. To make matters worse, most of the advanced functionality for queuing was not used by the Moose in Minneapolis. It felt like a very paltry replacement for song books.

It asked me for my name. Put in a simple name and I was prompted to input my fill name. Now everyone at the bar knows my full legal name. Not what I wanted.

It’s been 5 years since this app has been updated. We hosts pay a monthly fee to use the system but there are issues:

1: Registering on Android has been very buggy with errors that state emails were already used or invalid logins after registering. 

2:  no way for the singer to delete a song in queue or re-order them should they change their mind. Happens all the time. 

3:  Name changes in app should reflect in Compuhost as well. 

4:  scalability is terrible on Android when a user has very large fonts set. 

Primarily if the user could register a bit easier and could manage their own queue, that would be enough for me.

Just buy a songbook and keep a list? App is a waste of time, space, thought, and data. Doesn’t even tell you who the artist is for a ton of Irish songs.

Basic things like cascading drop downs don’t work correctly in iOS 13.  Why did you present a search for shows in the first place when you couldn’t select the show you were participating in? For that matter, why didn’t you use location services to determine where I was and choose the event that way?  And why am I giving you a user name and password instead of using many of the oAuth options?  And you need my full name?  Really?  And finally, it looks abhorrent.

Convenient but...not?

So it’s super convenient you can see the lineup and search your song easily. However if you decide to leave the bar and want to cancel your song that’s not an option. 

A very mediocre app. It does the job but it could definitely improve.

Why isn’t cancelling a song easy?  Or possible? 

Or changing it if someone also chose the same song? The little things add up to a mediocre app.

When putting in songs, it does not go to the karaoke DJ and they have to ask what you chose. Also sorting songs by artist and song is opposite. Song sorts by artist and artist shows by song. Pretty shoddy app

This app is horrible. The search function is all but useless and browsing to find the song/artist you're looking for is worse. Once you've chosen a tab, the app won't switch to any other tab. You have to fully close it, reopen it, and sign in again to get to another tab. Grade-school level coders could do better.

This app will return your password in plain text if requested via email or text. While an attacker would need access to the user’s emails or text messages (easily susceptible to shoulder surfing), under no circumstance should any piece of software return a user’s plaintext password. The proper procedure would be having the user reset their password when they forget their old one.

I’ve used this app at karaoke shows and the words for many, many songs are wrong.  Especially older, classic songs from 60’s-70’s-80’s-90’s.  The conversions made are horrible and in many cases the words aren’t even close to correct.  The format is consistent, but just a terrible translation of the lyrics from whatever source (sound choice, karaoke channel, etc) is used.

Ok. When a singer signs up they put in there full name. This is the same info that gets put into the host system and the singers then change it and it creates a new singer when they add the next song 

Fix have a stage name that is used upon login creating the Acct and lock it down. The host system can allow a name change and tracks the singer so people don’t try to sneak in as a new singer.  This happened my second time out.  They did it by accident.  Of the 5 users 3 changed there name after they saw it on the app

More than likely, the issues that some have with the app are related to the hosting software. I’ve used this software for a couple years now with little to no issues.  My only complaint is that I was grandfathered under their lower price and my bank put a fraud alert on my card so my payment didn’t go through.  So songbooks online immediately bumped me up to the higher pricing. 🤨

Tired of leafing through thousand page books? Tired of going up to tell the creepy karaoke Dj what song you want to sing? This app has it all! 

Browse songs by artist or song, or search songs easily. And then submit from the comfort of your barstool! And get notified via push notifications when you are up next! 

This is the future of karaoke. 

Cons: Karaoke Dj has to support this or you obviously can't use it. (I'm sure in a couple years they all will.) 
There is a ratings system where people can rate your songs but it doesn't seem to be up and running yet. Just gives a loading screen when you click it.

The only think I would say should change about this app is that it show the entire list of requested songs and not just the first 6 — that way you can actually see where you are in the queue.

1. Why for the tiny gray font on the front search page? Use the real estate that is there,mang.
2. “Browse” needs to incorporate search function to get 2nd and 3rd letters, etc so you’re not scrolling forever.
3. Added photo in my profile.
Brought up the add dialogue to pick another image. 
Result:second image won’t overwrite first.
