If I'm in the mood for one artist, I can search for that particular one and it finds every song/album imaginable. ### 4/5 — It's a good app. *2016-12-29, version 2.2* It's a good concept. If you really need that fix of the song stuck in your head and don't have any streaming service and you really don't care about the song quality. It all depends based on the user's preferences whether this app is good or not. I didn't really see a settings icon or anything else that would help you change your experience. I got this app while it was free. I think that it should probably stay free. It is like having a radio on your person where/whenever you want it. I drive a school bus; layovers between runs. The on-bus AM/FM radio is disabled! So I listen to NPR and Rush Limbaugh from the driver's seat, with coffee in hand (when parked, of course). Songbot has been reliable, simple and intuitive to operate. I wouldn't go anywhere without it. But, I couldn't find all the stations I wanted. This app found them all. It found stations buy my location as well as style, and even a song. The display is clean and easy. Lately I have had search issues with this app. Instead of getting dozens of related songs from top artists in the search area I sometimes get none. Please check into this and correct if possible. I like this app but will delete it if this problem doesn’t get better. Kept having annoying apps pop up, no explanation on how to move throughout the app smoothly, and when I went to hear a song playing most of the time it was partially over already! In addition, the stations I clicked on wouldn't play because they were "offline" 😒...don't waist your time downloading! ### 1/5 — Songbut *2017-05-11, version 2.2* I love the idea of this app but I am struggling with the controls. I couldn't see any display of which station was playing or any way to sort them. When I (tried to) return to the Main screen to figure out/learn how to use it locked up on an ad. So I rebooted my iPad. I returned after the reboot and began to explore - trying to discover what the programer(s) had in mind. Ad popped up and the app hung up. I refuse to reboot my iPad "every 5 minutes". And while I generally love a minimalist display, until you can come to terms with how it works I found it frustrating. I really want to like this app but in the end it's repeated hanging on an ad is too frustrating. Maybe I'll keep it around and hope for a fix. ### 1/5 — Beware!!: great...until the hijack *2017-03-04, version 2.2* A dream of an app...until suddenly the screen is hijacked by what appears to be an ad for a game named "Mobile Strike" with the words "Cross Strike" in the bottom seeming to be the name of the publisher. There is no way to dismiss it, which makes me think it is malware. Appropriately, the drawing of a menacing shooter aiming his automatic weapon at the viewer is displayed. Fortunately he doesn't move. Nor does anything else until you dismiss the app. Can't believe Apple allowed this in its App Store!!! ### 1/5 — Has advertisements *2017-03-01, version 2.2* Contains advertising and the worst mistake is that advertising has sound. It is very annoying to listen to music and suddenly hear some strange sounds that come from advertising. terrible. The advertising is not small or concealed is full screen. To be of payment leaves much to be desired. ### 2/5 — $1.99 Adware, beware! *2017-01-01, version 2.2* Issues #1, the $1.99 app pushes ads to your device. #2 most of the "premium" stations are unavailable and "offline." #3 several other stations say there an no spots available and to try later. Don't be fooled, this has potential, but not the best app available. ### 3/5 — Very nice *2017-03-20, version 2.2* It is a good app. The search feature is kind of hidden in the menu and takes too many clicks to get to the music you want, in my opinion. Also, searching only seems to work well for artist names, not song titles. Station bookmarking is a bit cumbersome as well. My final complaint is about the excessive nagging to leave a review. I have tried many music apps and in my opinion this is the best one to buy!! ### 5/5 — Great for "Driveway Moments"! *2017-05-24, version 2.2* I really don't search for songs with the app. My primary use is for what NPR calls, "Driveway Moments", those times when you're listening to an intriguing story and arrive at your destination. If you're arriving home, the idea is that you'll sit in your car to hear the remainder of the story, hence the name. I used to experience "Driveway Moments" all the time, but now I park, open the app and tap the appropriate station preset and turn off the car as soon as the app picks up the tale.
