## Newest reviews (10 of 47)

### 2/5 — Devs y’all need to update this game.

*2024-06-01, version 1.3.8*

Great game but the devs need to update this again, I can’t even purchase it.

### 4/5 — Need some Fixes

*2021-11-29, version 1.3.8*

The game is great overall in my opinion there’s a lot to explore and to do. You can upgrade your character and fight a lot of mini and big bosses in dungeons. A great game to kill time offline the only thing that need to be fixed ASAP is the teleported to the airship to song bringer you can’t even click to teleport or chose where it’s like off the map to the side to choose where to go and to top it of you can’t even go to that spot it needs to be fixed but anything else I do recommend it for download.

### 4/5 — My opinion

*2021-09-18, version 1.3.8*

It is a super well down mobile game I just wish it had more story and a sense of direction but other then that it was a really fun experience and exactly what I’m looking to fo in my free time

### 3/5 — Really enjoy the game

*2021-09-12, version 1.3.8*

I really enjoy the game but there is a bug with the teleport cube so you can’t combine things.

### 4/5 — Great effort

*2021-07-17, version 1.3.8*

I love it. Also the negative reviews are hilarious (mostly) but ya some of the bugs are annoying

### 2/5 — Unrecognizable buttons and no idea what to do

*2021-05-29*

There’s no tutorial; I have no idea what I’m doing. Also, the pixel art is beautiful, but I can’t tell what anything on the HUD is. Even if there was a tutorial, make the controls, buttons, and items recognizable so we can remember what they are.

### 2/5 — So much potential

*2021-03-08, version 1.3.8*

This game is super pretty and has great style and potential. The problem for me are mechanics and visibility. When I’m playing, I can only see a tiny pet of the screen because of the controls and this can work like in hyperlite drifter, but because here we’re on tiles, I can’t see most of whatever tile I’m on. This, for me makes it unplayable. Also, it takes WAY too long to take out your sword and you have to get way too close to loot to get it. A more significant story would help as well. If there are updates to the game I’ll definitely try it again, but as is it’s not worth it

### 3/5 — Great game, but...

*2021-01-26, version 1.3.8*

There seems to be a bug with the teleport cube. Not sure yet how much of the game will be closed off because of that.

### 3/5 — Moving with virtual pad is uncomfortable

*2020-11-25, version 1.3.8*

:)

### 2/5 — eh

*2020-11-22, version 1.3.8*

i feel like this game tries too hard to seem like zelda. the concept isn’t super interesting and nothing is explained at the beginning and there’s basically no tutorial, leaving you to have to figure out what a couple pixels on your screen mean. the design is sort of overcrowded and nothing gives you a clue as to what to do. there’s not a lot of originality and the writing isn’t great but the colors and art style are pretty well done.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Rip off

*2021-06-16, version 1.3.8*

Another one where you need to pay to play and it’s only a pixelated game it HAD potential but the developers had to ruin it

### 1/5 — Confusing and incomplete

*2021-05-06, version 1.3.8*

This game has no plot. That’s a problem because I’m asking myself what the heck I’m doing and why do I care. What’s the objective of the gameplay? Wandering around and whacking whatever moves is not compelling. Is there a princess? Something?

This graphic style has been used very successfully in games I’ve played before, but in this one I can’t even tell what I’m looking at half the time. I thought his sidekick was a chicken for a while. Eventually I decided it’s a robot, but I’m not certain. The boomerangy thingy looks like a toaster or a handbag. The bomb looks nothing like a bomb.

It’s clearly zelda. I even recognize panes of the zelda world map lifted whole cloth. I assume level design is accomplished simply by randomizing a copy of the zelda map based on the seed.

It’s a fine try but I’m getting tired of playing half-baked games. There’s a seed of an idea here but an RPG without a story and interesting characters is just not a finished game. This is an MVP. Add what’s missing. Keep trying. Good luck.

### 1/5 — I am not a pay to play person

*2021-03-08, version 1.3.8*

DO NOT LABLE YOUR GAME FREE IF YOUR GONNA CHARGE US FOR THE GAME LATER. That said good pixel art and controls, and will always be a Zelda clone in my eyes because this is eccenually what you've done. All but the story (and some quality of life add ons) are all you've changed in my eyes. Good game but you can do better.

### 1/5 — Bait

*2021-03-06, version 1.3.8*

Baits you into downloading, then asks for $5.49 when you try to start a game. Why not just charge it upfront?

Trash.

### 1/5 — uh

*2021-02-25, version 1.3.8*

So how do I play? Are the creatures on the screen enemies? Because they just blob around and do nothing. Why is it so hard to walk around without getting stuck on the environment? 0 world building 0 information 0 gameplay.

I enjoy difficult games and I enjoy figuring stuff out on the fly, but literally every aspect of the gameplay experience begged me to delete this game. And I have.

One star for nice colors and art, otherwise it would be zero.

### 1/5 — Bad

*2021-01-08, version 1.3.8*

Just kinda boring

### 1/5 — Misleading

*2020-12-19, version 1.3.8*

It’s a demo that tries to charge you before you can even play the game. Don’t label the game as free when it isn’t. Intentionally deceptive and misleading.

### 1/5 — Just why?

*2020-11-15, version 1.3.8*

It’s games like this that frustrate me. Because you can see the potential. But you can’t get through the first hour because of the complete lack of any sense of what to do. Literally nothing is explained. Even what basic functionality each action does. Or what to do, where to go, why to do anything. How to equip anything. Or even if something is equipped. How to pick up anything. How to move or why. At this point I’m wondering why I’m even writing this. If you decide to overcome this and everything else that pushes you not to play this game, maybe just maybe there is something decent behind it? But it’s a masterclass in what developers should not do. Completely non engaging.

### 1/5 — Why pay for it if the free version always crashes

*2020-11-14, version 1.3.8*

Killed the first boss three times and it crashes each time. Don’t waste your money on it.

### 2/5 — Can’t purchase.

*2026-05-03, version 1.3.8*

Needs an update, can’t purchase the full game.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Regret

*2023-04-01, version 1.3.8*

I want a refund

### 5/5 — Amazing game

*2023-02-16, version 1.3.8*

A-level game. Refreshing to play a well-thought-through rogue-like with a good sprinkling of storyline and the right amount of discover-yourself-what-to-do-next. Would be cool to see a bit more upgrade-your-weapon type things; although it has that and in a cool way where you could upgrade in a variety of ways. I was a bit lost at first but enjoyed the freedom the game provides. Reminded me of original sNES Zelda. Fresh take on this genre though; looking forward for the developer’s next title. 8-10hs gaming experience if you don’t research how-tos or play again; you can play again though because the map and a few details are different every time you play.

### 5/5 — Not Bad

*2021-05-04, version 1.3.8*

This is an awesome game but I don’t like how you have to pay for the full version

### 5/5 — Excellent game

*2021-02-26, version 1.3.8*

This is an excellent dungeon delver in the traditions of NES Zelda but with a more sci-fi setting and slightly different perspective. The only caveat for me is lack of controller support. The touch screen controls are actually pretty solid, but this is a game that screams controller to me. Hopefully as more DLC comes it’s something that will get updated in the future. Until then, I’m off to explore.

### 5/5 — One of the best mobile games I’ve ever played

*2021-02-03, version 1.3.8*

This game is very reminiscent of The Legend of Zelda for the NES. It’s super fun to explore, the combat is simple and satisfying, the puzzles are neat, the story is interesting, the dialogue is funny with Roq being one of the most relatable characters in gaming, the enemies have interesting designs, the graphics are great, the animation is flawless, and I’ve only just beat the first dungeon. I decided to buy the full version and I am extremely happy I decided to do so. It’s clear a lot of passion went into this game, and it’s bursting with charm! My only gripe with the game is that the controls are a little annoying to deal with, but that may be because I’m playing this game on an iPhone. This game feels like it belongs on the Nintendo Switch rather than on the AppStore. If you’re on the fence about whether or not to get the full version of this game, I say go for it. Hope to see more quality titles like this in the future!

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2021-01-31, version 1.3.8*

Really worth your money and time

### 5/5 — This game is great but change the graphics and make it a little bit easier

*2020-12-24, version 1.3.8*

Hhjj

### 5/5 — Rad!

*2020-11-27, version 1.3.8*

Got the full version, it’s really great. My only problem is that after getting Eiael’s snare the bosses are impossible to beat. Sort of loses the fun. I’ve gotten all the items now and they’re still just too difficult to beat. Even dropping all the kilobombs and regular bombs. Great music. Fun. I think it’s dope!

### 5/5 — Really fun game

*2020-11-14, version 1.3.8*

Enjoying it, totally worth the $4.

### 5/5 — Guaranteed replay ability

*2020-11-07, version 1.3.8*

This game is great and I want a true planet expansion sequel. I’m on my 5th go around, well, actually 4th but who’s counting? Thank you for making this wondrous creation.
