I do wish we had more options to adding music outside of iTunes and Youtube, such as spotify, dropbox, voice memo, etc. Unfortunately, the Youtube option to add music pretty much never works for me, so I’m confined to downloading from iTunes. Another issue is that often times, the music just doesn’t play regardless of how many times I press the play button. It’s like a gamble every time I open the app in hopes that it will work. ### 1/5 — Not usable at all *2020-03-19* It literally does not let me add anything. I just got the app and deleted it a minute later. Every time I press the ‘+’ button the app immediately shuts down and closes. Every single time I pressed the button it shuts down. How am I supposed to get anything done without being able to add anything?? **Developer response:** Hello, We recently released version 2.3 which helped to solve a couple issues with crashes on iPad (we mainly build for iPhone&iWatch) as well as some music selection issues. If you are still experiencing issues with the newest version, please feel free to connect with us by emailing us over at friends@fwd.dance. We hope to hear from you! Best, F.W.D. ### 3/5 — So unreliable!... but great if it works. *2020-02-22* Really disappointing to see how the app I’ve loved and used for so long (bought it as Songmark like 2 years ago) is barely usable anymore... especially because this awesome functionality isn’t available anywhere else. This recent version closes out the second I open it. Every. Single. Time. Then I delete & re-download and it will work until maybe the next day, then it’s back to refusing to open. The last reviewer’s problem doesn’t seem too uncommon. Also I miss the function where you could see the whole queue of songs and reorder them. **Developer response:** Hello, We recently released version 2.3 which helped to solve a couple issues with crashes on iPad (we mainly build for iPhone&iWatch) as well as some music selection issues. It is so convenient to be able to set marks from in front of the class. ### 1/5 — App is great when it works *2020-01-17* At times it refuses to import from apple music and after the recent update, it wont import at all **Developer response:** Hi Li, We have noticed certain devices are having this issue. Thank you. ### 3/5 — Great, but.... *2020-01-14* I love what this app does, and it’s great when it works but every few weeks it refuses to open and I have to delete it and re-install it. And then I lose all the songs and bookmarks that I had saved. I really hope you fix this because it such a useful app for teaching dance! **Developer response:** Hi Mahin, This issue is uncommon, but we would love to help you resolve the issue. Please connect with us over at FWD.dance or email us at friends@fwd.dance for custom support. Thank you. ### 2/5 — iPad crashes after 13.1.3 installed *2019-10-22* Crashes every time I add a song from iTunes playlist. It was working fine before I installed iPad OS 13.1.3. I even deleted the app and reinstalled but still crashes. Please fix. It’s a great app when it works. **Developer response:** Hey Ericson! We are working to provide an all-new amazing update. Hopefully it will be approved soon. Thank you for your feedback. ### 2/5 — Great at first but stopped working *2019-10-07* This app was a lifesaver for rehearsal, but after the latest iOS update it no longer lets me import from iTunes. I select a song and SongMark quits. 😭 ### 1/5 — App doesn't work anymore *2018-09-02* It used to work like a year ago but I kept trying to get other songs now and download unavailable. Please fix ### 5/5 — Love this app! *2018-07-28* As a dance teacher this is so convenient for anyone trying to teach fast choreo! You can slow the songs down so your students can catch everything! I love it! ## Frequently asked questions about SongMark ### How does FWD.dance help with learning dance online?
