## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.17.0 — 2026-09-25

Each song in a setlist can name who sings lead. If a different key is set for that name, the song is shown in that key wherever the name is assigned, with the matching capo. The song itself keeps its standard key, so a second copy for another key is no longer needed. PDFs and the copied running order name the lead vocals and the vocal key.

Songs, folders, dividers and any selection can be sent to other SONGUIDE users as a SONGUIDE file, with all capos and vocal keys. Setlist files include the lead vocals as well, and the whole import can be undone.

Chords can be shown as Nashville numbers. Numbers in the action rail switches between chords and numbers, and the PDF export offers the same choice.

Adding songs to a setlist or removing them can be undone right from the notice.

Song titles in the library and the setlist get the full width of the tile and wrap far less often, and in chords such as Cmaj7, maj is now raised along with the 7.

### 1.16.1 — 2026-09-15

Changes made right before a sign-in expires are no longer lost. They are kept and uploaded after signing in again.

Song titles and artists in Hebrew, Greek or Cyrillic print as real letters in the PDF header, in the right reading order, instead of empty boxes.

A chart that a messenger renamed to a generic file, such as WhatsApp's .bin, imports anyway based on its content.

The back gesture ends selection mode and keeps the library open, and the import summary lists each imported song by its title, with the file name underneath only when it differs.

### 1.16.0 — 2026-09-07

A setlist can be shared with other SONGUIDE users as a single setlist file, complete with running order, dividers, songs and capos. Export setlist offers it as the new default next to PDF and ChordPro ZIP.
A received setlist file imports as a complete setlist in one tap. Songs and dividers already in the library are matched instead of duplicated, a review shows what happens to each entry, and the import can be undone.

Several songs, dividers or setlist entries can be selected at once with a long press, or with Select more in the options, and moved, added to the setlist, duplicated, exported, deleted or removed from the setlist in one step.

Names of songs, setlists and folders stand out in teal in dialogs and titles, and deleting a song, divider or folder now says what goes with it.

Fixes: pinching the songsheet to zoom and swiping to the next or previous song are smoother, a zoomed-in sheet pans instead of changing the song, and song sections on pages no longer overlap under a larger system font size.

### 1.15.0 — 2026-08-30

A song can be laid out in columns on pages instead of one long scroll. On a screen with room for columns this is how a song opens the first time. The switch sits in the zoom control in the action rail, and it picks a size that puts the song on as few pages as it can.

The folder and setlist pickers show how many songs each entry holds, and a letter rail down the side of the song list jumps to any letter once the list is longer than the screen.

The options windows are one small form. Duplicating a song or a divider asks for the name and the folder in one step, and a button beside the folder filter and the setlist picker opens the options of whatever is selected.

Songs with an umlaut now sort under their base letter, and library search puts the song you typed on top.

Fixes: sync recovers on its own after the device sleeps, the library settles on one layout as it opens, a dropdown opened while the keyboard is up ends above the keyboard, and tapping beside the song search puts the keyboard down.

### 1.14.0 — 2026-08-24

SONGUIDE now speaks German. Settings, then Preferences, offers System, English and Deutsch, and the app follows your device language by default, in emails and PDFs too.

The upgrade screen shows the launch offer with its end date, and a day countdown in the final week.

Library search finds dividers as well as songs, and it works from a keyboard: the arrow keys walk the results, Enter opens a song, and Shift with Enter adds it to the setlist.

Creating an account offers optional product update emails, off by default, with a switch in About and Legal. A new Report a bug entry there opens a prefilled report to support.

Fixes: a foot pedal key that stays pressed no longer keeps turning pages, sync recovers on its own after an outage, picking a very large import file no longer crashes the app, typing in dialogs works on iPad in landscape, and an imported capo now reaches your other devices.
