## What is Songwright?

Songwriters are forced to split every idea in two — some chords in Voice Memos, scattered lyrics in Notes (or a notebook across the room). The frustration is real, and Songwright is the solution: the music and words, finally in one place.

You hear something coming to you while you're playing guitar. Open Songwright, hit record, and stack up to four tracks per song: lay the seed of an idea, maybe add a different melody or second guitar, sketch a beat. Switch over to the Lyrics tab, and those random first lyrical ideas (they're always the best) are already transcribed and ready to explore. The words and the music never drift apart; your whole idea stays in one place, ready to develop over time.

Songwright isn't a DAW. That's the point: it's where songs grow before you need one. Share a basic mix with collaborators, or export separate stems when you're ready to produce.
