## What is Sonic Purity?

Water or dust stuck in your speaker? Sound muffled after the pool or the rain? Sonic Purity plays precisely generated low-frequency sound through your phone's speaker to help shift trapped water and debris — and, with Pro, check the result with a full speaker test.

A single tap plays a pulsed 165 Hz tone. At that frequency the speaker diaphragm swings through a wide excursion and acts like a small pump, pushing air — and whatever is sitting in the grille — outward. Hold the phone speaker-down so gravity helps.

CLEANING MODES
• Water Eject — 30 seconds of pulsed 165 Hz, the classic cycle
• Quick Clean — a 10-second pass: a short pulse plus a high-frequency tail
• Dust Eject — a repeating 100 Hz to 8 kHz sweep that shakes particles loose
• Deep Clean — three full-spectrum passes from 20 Hz to 20 kHz
• Smart Clean — plays a quiet probe, listens with the microphone, finds the frequency your speaker responds to most strongly, then pulses at that frequency
• Pulse Mode — hard-gated bursts for stubborn debris

A COMPLETE SOUND TOOLKIT
• dB Meter with A-weighting, min/max/average tracking, and manual calibration
• White, pink, and brown noise, generated in real time
• Tone generator across the full 20 Hz to 20 kHz range, with sine, square, triangle, and sawtooth waveforms
• Sleep timers with a gentle fade-out, and lock-screen playback controls

SPEAKER DIAGNOSTICS (PRO)
Six tests — left, right, stereo, bass, treble, and phase — with results you can track over time. The 7-day maintenance routine is free.

BUILT WITH CARE
• Every tone is synthesised on your device in real time. Nothing is streamed or downloaded.
• Cleaning cycles are blocked while headphones are connected — these tones are loud, and they belong nowhere near your ears.
• Output is capped well below full scale, and every cycle fades in and out so there are no clicks or pops.
• No account, no analytics, no network. Microphone audio is measured and immediately discarded — never recorded, stored, or uploaded.

WHAT THIS APP IS NOT
Sonic Purity moves air. It is not a repair tool and it will not waterproof anything. It cannot fix a damaged speaker or reverse liquid damage. If your phone was submerged or is not working properly, contact Apple Support or an authorised repair provider.

Sonic Purity Pro unlocks Smart Clean's microphone-tuned cycle, the four advanced cleaning modes, the six speaker diagnostics with their health score and history, the square/triangle/sawtooth waveforms, 0.1 Hz frequency resolution, and export of your cleaning and diagnostic history.
