## What is SonicLab?

SonicLab is a local music player focused on making your own library easier to manage and more enjoyable to listen to.
Scan selected folders, import local audio, and organize your music with views for all songs, favorites, folders, custom playlists, and recently played tracks. Search, sorting, and batch actions help keep even larger libraries clean and practical.

Playback is designed for everyday control. Add songs to the queue, set the next track, view the current play order, and reorder the queue with drag and drop. For long audio and video files, SonicLab can remember your playback position so you can continue where you left off.

The sleep timer is built for real listening habits. Set a fixed duration, choose a custom time, or let SonicLab stop automatically after the current track finishes.

Sound effects are a core part of SonicLab. Choose from everyday enhancement, vocal clarity, spatial effects, ASMR, and more expressive sound styles. You can also create your own custom effects and give familiar tracks a fresh feel.

Artwork is shown when available, and video files can optionally display video directly on the player screen.
