They do refill, but i need more than 20 uses for my students. ### 2/5 — Disappointed *2019-08-12* I was hoping this would work for communicating with my students but it is difficult to us and on my iPhone XS the icons at the top are cut off and not functional. Seems like it would be good if it did what it was supposed to and were more user friendly. ### 2/5 — Promising BUT *2015-08-29, version 1.0.9* Wish it actually gave some indication of how many times it will speak before locking up the trial version, I would have spent way less time mucking about getting it to work. I still have little idea if it will be any use and now it will not speak any more except to tell me it is the free version. Not that clear in description that it will time out or how fast - hours? But after three to four statements the app would just continue to repeat the sono flex advertising .... Frustrated my 4 year old to constantly have to restart app, I wanted to use the app over the next few months to get him use to it before vacation... He is completely non verbal. Not working out. I am in search of a program to purchase... That will work on the iPad and asus .. Tried app on both devices same problem ### 4/5 — SMS suggestions *2013-03-02* As an SLP working in the schools with limited funds, I like this app. I have recommended the full version to families after we have tried it in speech. I would recommend a couple of things: the write phrases and quick phrases are redundant. It's the same button with the same options. There are only 28 buttons on main page. Please give us the option of adding something else of more use. Also, when making context pages, I would like the option to choose where to put the icon rather than it falling in line. I understand the Fitzgerald system, but I would like the option to put it where I need it. ### 4/5 — great app,sound is only on for a few trys *2012-12-30, version 1.0.6* great app but every time had need to demo it to speech assessor rhe speech had reach it trail end but prog still work :( which is ok but there no visual count down reminder to tell u how close u were to it ### 5/5 — Sono flex is awesome *2012-08-04* This is the best symbol based communication app I have used. And it is only a demo. It is much easier to use that the other apps I have seen. You can even take a photo with the Ipad2 or Iphone and use it on the page. How's that for cool! Too many other apps seem to be written by people that do not understand language. Not Sono Flex. It has a core vocabulary AND also a context vocabulary approach all in one app. The Tobii people have done another great and innovative job! It is a great way to get an idea of how the full app works without having to buy it first. I am also with some of the other reviewers who would like to hear the audio output for the words selected. Sometimes our users accidentally hit the wrong picture symbol and that audio information would allow them to correct their mistake a little quicker. It is a good product but does need some adjustments. ### 4/5 — Fantastic Trial Version *2012-02-09* I have been using Sonoflex Lite with a couple of students and it is a nice app, overall. I like the Context buttons, but would like the option to lock the large Context button at the top. It would also be better if it were possible to swap and hide buttons. (These features may be available in the full version.) Overall, it appears to be a nice, robust app. I love that so many features and vocabulary are available on the Lite version. The speech rate is way too fast for kids with processing delays, the sound of the voice is tinny and canned, and the visual display is way too crowded. I don't know if the display can be simplified - I sure haven't been able too. They have no language organization or strategy and are here to make a buck. People have no idea about language and just jump on any wagon tht has something new. It's like my Dynavox and it's free! ### 5/5 — The best AAC software at an affordable price !! *2014-05-19* We have a Tobii C-8 that's windows based and has the full sonoflex program . This Apple iOS app is a blessing and is simply awesome . Why ? Because now we can take a 100$ iPod touch to the park to use and not carry around the large PC unit that costs 5000$ . The software on the iOS is almost identical and works great . It is completely customizable and you can add text , words and pictures easy . It's fast and has never crashed or locked up once . Several other competitive apps are a ridiculous non affordable prices and there slow , and they have that generic feel and are missing many features . So overall were very happy with this and it's a true blessing for people with apraxia who cannot speak on there own .! Thanks Tobii , and please keep up the updates . There's a few minor tweeks it still needs like password protecting the editing. Automatically switching to portrait from landscape view . Use the camera inside the app .etc Ps hey blue eyes. I can't believe the lite version is free, I like it better than Proloquo2go for higher level communicators who need sentence structure.
