IMPORTANT
SonoClipShare is provided solely as an educational resource. It is not a diagnostic device and is not intended for making patient-care decisions. Images may be compressed and are not suitable for primary diagnosis. PanEcho AI analysis is provided for educational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional clinical judgment.

Protected Health Information (PHI) is not permitted. Users must remove all patient-identifying information before uploading. Content is periodically reviewed, and accounts uploading PHI may be removed.

Free for educational, non-commercial use.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.9.3 — 2026-08-29

SonoClipShare now speaks Spanish.

Every screen, dialog and message is translated, reviewed by a Spanish-speaking
clinician. If your phone is set to Spanish, the app offers to switch the first
time you open it. You can change language any time from the menu, and switch
back just as easily.

M-mode is faster
M-mode strips now build from frames prepared on the server, so the strip
appears in about half the time and uses every frame in the clip rather than
whatever playback managed to capture.

Better measurements
Calibrate by dragging along the depth scale and the app finds the tick marks
for you, then offers the distance. The calibration line now looks and behaves
the same whether you are measuring on a still, a clip or an M-mode strip.

Smoother playback
Clips resume properly when you come back to the app, including the next and
previous clips in a series. Swiping through a study no longer leaves a video
paused on a still frame.

Fixes
- Newly uploaded clips no longer open before they have finished processing
- A clip that will not load now recovers on its own instead of spinning
- The PanEcho results panel reads correctly in both languages

### 2.8.1 — 2026-08-16

Calipers. Measure a structure on the exact frame you choose. The reading appears on the image and in the comment, so the number and the picture stay together. Calibrate by dragging along the depth scale: the app finds the scale marks and offers the distance, and you confirm it.

Hide annotations. A new eye button in the viewer clears arrows and measurements so you can read the anatomy unmarked, then brings them straight back.Choosing a frame is now instant. Frames load in a fraction of a second and the slider steps through every one of them, so a measurement sits exactly where you meant it. The timeline handles are easier to grab too.

Also fixed: a crash when leaving the media viewer, a measurement label that could sit on top of the caliper it belonged to, and a display problem when the phone was rotated.

### 2.8.0 — 2026-08-15

Calipers. Measure a structure on the exact frame you choose. The reading appears on the image and in the comment, so the number and the picture stay together. Calibrate by dragging along the depth scale: the app finds the scale marks and offers the distance, and you confirm it.

Hide annotations. A new eye button in the viewer clears arrows and measurements so you can read the anatomy unmarked, then brings them straight back.

Instant frame picking. Choosing the frame to measure on now keeps up with your finger instead of lagging behind it, and the timeline handles are easier to grab.

Also fixed: a crash when leaving the media viewer, and a display problem when the phone was rotated.

### 2.7.0 — 2026-08-08

Arrow annotations: point at exactly what you mean. Draw an arrow on any image or clip, choose its color, size, and timing, and attach a note. Everyone the archive is shared with sees it.

Plus smoother video playback and interface refinements.

### 2.6.0 — 2026-08-04

Shared archives are now collaborative: if an archive is shared with you, you can add, delete, and reorder its media - not just view it.
