I uninstalled, reboot and reinstalled and working fine. I am not seeing any real lag times over the typical Sonos lag times. I have a mix of S1 and S2 speakers and using the S2 control app. You do need to follow the instructions exactly. To get the widget you need to not just search for it but customize and add it to the selection list. The video is a bit off because ios16 changed the way thing look but the sequence is the same. ### 2/5 — Can’t make this work *2021-04-18, version 2.1* Very latest iOS. Can’t make this app work at all. Even tried the developer how-to video cited in other review responses. In iOS 14, the widgets have changed, but iOS 13-style widgets are still supported. The widget is still in iOS 13 style. This is a side project for me, and I still need to find the time for a complete iOS 14 redesign of the widget :) ### 2/5 — Isn’t working after purchase *2020-10-05, version 2.1* Does not show up in widgets with IOS 14. Please get this updated or I would like a refund. ### 3/5 — Lock screen? *2020-07-16, version 2.1* I read that this would show up on the lock screen but don’t see the ability for that to happen. I’m disappointed the app is not working correctly. I hit any button on app and it lags to do function if it does it at all. Found your app in an article on Apple News and seemed to be the answer to my needs. Read most of reviews, all dated 2,3 and 4 years ago and most people rave about the app. Is the app out dated or perhaps I installed it incorrectly? Also want to know what the numbers in the upper left hand corner of the speaker ID box on app mean? I do not have a Facebook account nor do I want one so I can’t reach out to your support page. Yes the app is fully supported and on my other monitor there's XCode open with the an upcoming update supporting both S1 and S2 speakers in one list together. While we were unable to get it working for your Sonos / network setup after a few emails back and forth, which is regrettable but once in a while happens for certain situations, I do hope you were satisfied with the support effort (I always try to help users out whenever I can) and the refund. Best regards! ### 5/5 — Exactly as described and thankful improvements to Sonos main app *2017-10-08, version 1.1.10* To those dissatisfied - you should read more closely. To those looking for an app on iOS that allows you to swipe quickly to your widget screen while locked (or otherwise) and skip songs, adjust volume, see song playing, and a few other small actions...this app is perfect. For me, it eliminates unlocking my iPhone via touchID and then opening he sonos app and then changing the song. For those who want that, this app works flawlessly as described. Ignore the rankings from people who don’t understand the use case. Thanks to the dev team for developing something that makes the sonos experience better, and for a reasonable price of $2.99. The setup screen is frozen and I'm sorry I wasted $3. I had high hopes for it. It is easier to access within the widget menu and I like the fact you can adjust the size of the widgets. It is best for changing volume, pausing or skipping the song. You can't group players within the widget but that's no problem, I don't expect it to. I can only connect to one player at a time now. Have to reboot app and hope it comes up to the one I want. ### 1/5 — Bad *2017-03-19, version 1.1.10* I would not waste my money on this crappy app. I have been looking for a good Sonos controller but I should have done more research. This widget looks terrible, is glitchy and is definitely not worth 3 dollars. Wish I could get my money back **Developer response:** Sorry to hear that. We are always listening to feedback, and as stated in the App Store this app is a widget for your today screen as an addition to the regular Sonos app, it's not a full featured Sonos controller and not intended as a replacement for the official app, but an addition. App clearly hasn’t been worked on in years as it does not work at all. Ok, so basic control of Sonos is available as a widget but for everyone complaining about how how it is to open Sonos. “Hey Siri, open Sonos,” it’s 4 words and involves no swiping. Deleted within 3 minutes of purchasing. **Developer response:** Sorry to hear you don't like it. Really keen on checking out what you saw since I can't find overflows on the screen (long track names are scrolled like a ticker tape, is that what you mean?). For more than 3 speakers I recommend the medium or small view so it will fit. It just shows as a widget for volume controls that is it. The rest has to be done in the regular Sonos app that you already have. Until SONOS get their head out of their behind and fix their app for iOS Lock Screen availability, this is your best option. ### 5/5 — Loving this *2020-12-19, version 2.1* Downloaded it a long time ago but never set it up. Finally configured it - simple process - and it works perfectly on a mixed S1/S2 system. However I (and users of Sonos) can think of 10 more features that might be handy as well and we only have so much space in the widget. Thank you for your work on the app. Have been using just over a week. I have a 10 speaker installation so far. Makes quick adjustments to audio much more convenient than drilling down to the Sonos app controls.
