### 5/5 — Insane

*2026-02-07, version 9.6.2*

I wasn’t quite sure what to expect, but I added two of my Era 100s as fronts to my Arc. Wow…

Before messing around with anything, please just look up a quick guide.

Kudos to the developer!

### 5/5 — Does exactly what it says it will do!

*2026-02-07, version 9.6.2*

Great product to try out unsupported features that Sonos have configured under the bonnet but not (yet) made present in the Sonos app. Fantastic value for the price and I’m delighted with the results.

### 5/5 — Does what it says and more

*2026-02-07*

Love that is adds capabilities we didn’t have on the stock app. Is it perfect, nothing ever is, but to say it doesn’t do what it was intended for would be harsh. Thanks for the great app and support!

### 5/5 — Thank you for your hard work

*2026-02-07*

Couldn’t have expanded the soundstage so wide without your amazing work. And don’t stop integrating new experimental features even if some dolts give 2 stars bc they don’t understand the word experimental.

### 5/5 — No Frills Amazingness

*2026-02-06*

Listen, we are all used to drag/drop with fancy interfaces, blah blah blah. And if you’re looking for that, then this is NOT the app for you.

But if you want someone who has opened up an entirely new reality for your SONOS home theater, this is for you.

1. There are many people who’ve written tutorials on how to use this app. And, when followed exactly, there are no problems.

2. The developer is EXTREMELY involved in the discussions online and participates regularly. That isn’t rare to see in today’s world.

If you’re up to the task of following instructions on a “behind the scenes” developer app for Sonos, the difference in sound quality is spectacular.

### 5/5 — 6 stars

*2026-02-06, version 9.6.2*

This is a must for Sonos owners who want to take there system to another level

### 5/5 — A true deal breaker

*2026-02-06, version 9.6.1*

An excellent app that improves Sonos sound by 1000%. I’m so glad I found this app.

### 5/5 — Worth every bit for Sonos owners!

*2026-02-06, version 9.6.1*

This app breathed new life to my Connect:Amps, allowing them to be paired with my Beam soundbar for a larger sound stage.

### 5/5 — Recommended to everyone with Sonos home theater

*2026-02-06, version 9.6.1*

Is what Sonos should be doing. I’m thankful for this app and I would be upset if I lost this functionality. Set it and forget it!

### 5/5 — Outstanding Tool for the Sonos Community

*2026-02-06*

I own a lot of Sonos gear and love the ecosystem. SonoSequencer is a game changer for getting the most listening pleasure out of my Sonos investment. Just the capability to add discrete front left and right speakers alone has been the greatest single improvement I’ve been able to make with our three home theater systems. If you have not tried SonoSequencer you really should! If you have a question, you can ask via the app or on the SonoSequencer Reddit Sub….the developer is very gracious about helping the tech-challenged like me!

### 5/5 — Great Tool for the Savvy Sonos User

*2026-02-06*

Has been useful for me. Used it to quickly change my speaker configurations (pair and unpair two Moves) and tinker with left over beta functionality Sonos left in their API. Recognize that experimental features offer no guarantee of function or success, your mileage will vary, but the only reason you are able to try is because of helpful tools like this. 5 stars.

### 5/5 — Merci d’avoir débrider mon système

*2026-02-06*

Grâce a cette appli j’ai pu ajouter des fonctionnalités que je ne pensais pas possible avec mon système sonos ! Merci pour cette application

### 5/5 — Thank you for this wonderful option

*2026-02-06*

People leaving negative reviews should not be trusted. Works like a charm to deliver a wonderful surround sound experience and other sensible features. If you don’t like experimental/beta feeling products, maybe this app isn’t for you and you should wait for Sonos to (hopefully) officially support this functionality in the future. Developer is very supportive and actively engaging on Reddit. We appreciate you and all your work on this!

### 5/5 — Wow!

*2026-02-06, version 9.6.1*

This app is amazing. For a one time buy I get to have front speakers on my sonos TV set up. It is not that difficult to figure out and there are lots of tutorials on reddit to help get it going. The sound is so much better with a wider stage.

### 5/5 — Sounds amazing adding fronts

*2026-02-06*

Yes it’s a bit fiddly to setup but once done, it sounds really really good. The idiots writing one star reviews are usually people who haven’t set it up properly and haven’t realised this is an experimental feature on this app.

### 5/5 — Transformed my Sonos system

*2026-02-06, version 9.6.1*

My Sonos system felt like it was always missing something. Adding fronts completely transformed my system from good to incredible

### 5/5 — Front L/R support - worth it!

*2026-02-06, version 9.6.1*

This is an amazing little app that allows sonos users to add front speaker to their home theatre system. I had a pair of era 100’s now i have an amazing front soundstage with my beam gen 2! Thank you and keep up the great work!

### 5/5 — Must have app for Sonos owners!

*2026-02-06, version 9.6.1*

The app allows you to add front speakers to your soundbar and it’s a game changer for the soundstage. I also appreciate the developer’s effort around getting TruePlay working.

### 5/5 — This is awsome !

*2026-02-06, version 9.6.1*

Nice app ! Very cheap and use full ! Thanks body !

### 5/5 — Works great

*2026-02-06, version 9.6.1*

Works as advertised and provides fronts!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Creates (4) phantom Sonos speakers, after adding (2) Era 300s

*2026-01-31*

I love the idea of the app and purchased it add (2) front Era 300s to extend the front sound stage of my Sonos Arc home theater setup, which include (2) Era 300s as surrounds and (2) Subs. When I add the (2) fronts, your app creates (4) extra phantom speakers in the Sonos app and they can’t be removed from the Sonos app. The also prevents you from being able to run Tuneplay to optimize the sound. I’d love this to work. Do you have any suggestions?

**Developer response:** I’d love this to work seamlessly too.
However, front speakers are not officially supported by Sonos, so there is nothing I can fix on my side. Any glitches you see are a direct result of using this experimental workaround — which is clearly stated during setup.

### 1/5 — Completely messed up my system

*2025-07-04, version 9.5.1*

Even after reset my subs still won’t work while watching tv. Sub audio works with trueplay only. Do not install it will ruin your system

### 1/5 — Katastrophe

*2025-05-10, version 9.5.0*

Hat das ein Schüler programmiert

### 1/5 — Bad app that doesn’t work!

*2025-02-04, version 9.3.1*

Payed money for this and it does absolutely nothing but break the speakers when you try to set them up in stereo or 5.1 and you need to reset everything.
Don’t waste your money or time. Doesn’t work.

### 1/5 — Disappointed

*2021-05-21, version 6.3.0*

Bought this app for just one feature - to schedule night mode on/off. Can’t do this without a ‘premium’ subscription…. Always read the small print.

### 1/5 — Difficult to understand and use

*2020-12-04, version 5.11.0*

I have found no online tutorials. If there is a tutorial somewhere, can someone direct to it. Thank you.

### 1/5 — Rarely works

*2020-11-15, version 5.11.0*

Really
Don’t waste your money

It’s half interesting when it works but invariably it has decided to disconnect and you need to go back to your phone and coax it back to life
Only for it to not be able to find anything next time you try to use it

Wish I could get a refund. Feel properly ripped off

### 1/5 — Abo Modell nach Kauf eingeführt

*2019-08-13, version 5.0.3*

Trotz Kauf der Anwendung wurde nun ein Abo Modell eingeführt. Das Abo Modell rechtfertigt nicht die Aufwände und Funktionen.

### 1/5 — Download failure

*2019-06-17, version 4.3.1*

I have paid and downloaded this app to an iphone with version 8.1 software. App appears on screen fine but will not open. I have tried deleting and reinstalling but same thing happens. Can you help?

### 1/5 — Not great

*2019-05-24, version 4.3.1*

Not a very user friendly app

Cannot even add devices

Waste of money

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Creating true 5.2 home theatre

*2026-06-10, version 9.6.6*

Assimilated Sonos beam and four picture frames and two subs into one properly functioning home theatre

### 5/5 — Absolut top

*2026-06-02*

### 5/5 — Fantastic app

*2026-05-26, version 9.6.6*

The real question is why does Sonos officially support these features? Instead they purposefully refuses to acknowledge that many of these configurations are even possible. 😡

### 5/5 — Essential

*2026-04-04, version 9.6.5*

Anyone with Sonos - GET THIS APP!!!

### 5/5 — Adds Amazing Capabilites

*2026-02-16, version 9.6.2*

Being able to add front speakers is a game changer.

### 5/5 — Impressive App!

*2026-02-15*

I have dozens and dozens of apps, and this is the first review I’ve ever written. Like all of you, I’m solicited to write reviews, sometimes multiple times a day.

I just wanted to pay props to the developer for not only creating this incredible app, making it straightforward to adding two front speakers and adding a second Gen 1/2 sub, staying engaged with his community, and more. I’ve only scratched the surface of all the features his app provides, but the two aforementioned additions (which the official Sonos app does not allow) has made my TV/movie/music experience significantly richer.

Thank you, Marcus!

### 5/5 — Such a great tool for multi room Sonos environments!

*2026-02-08, version 9.6.2*

I heard about this app on the Sonos Reddit page. I have created complexed sequences that allow me to single tap a button and have all of those steps done for me. Love it!

### 5/5 — Incredible app & Sonos Expansion

*2026-02-08*

I saw discussion of SonoSequencr on forums talking about using the app to add dedicated front right/left speakers to a Sonos soundbar and decided to give it a try. WOW! I’m blown away by the results. Setup wasn’t difficult with the app and a few searches on the forum for tips, and I’m blown away by the results. Incredible sound now from my Sonos home theater system. Why this isn’t supported on the official app is beyond me. The developer provides feedback and is constantly improving the app - which easily justifies to me that this is a paid app. Keep improving and engaging with users and I’ll keep evangelizing your app. Sonos really needs to hire this guy to fix their first party app and add these features, but maybe it’s working out well for both sides being like this.

### 5/5 — Fantastic Application!

*2026-02-07, version 9.6.2*

Take your time, read instructions or ask for help. This app is truly amazing once you get the hang of it!

### 5/5 — Best decision ever made

*2026-02-07, version 9.6.2*

Bought some era 100s to pair with the arc ultra as fronts and it sounds amazing
