ONBOARD METRIC PROCESSING
Metrics are calculated and processed on the Apex device and transferred to the Sonra Watch App via Bluetooth, ensuring accurate live data and no data loss when players go out of range.

PACEMAKER
Pacemaker Steady State mode monitors the current speed of an individual during work periods of custom workouts so that the athlete remains on pace within set custom high and low % limits of their target pace. 
Pacemaker Intervals mode allows a user to predetermine work & rest times, that can be used for all types of interval training. Coaches can input their desired workout options through custom work and rest periods and number reps and sets.

This app uses Apple HealthKit API in order to be able to communicate with the APEX device over Bluetooth while the app is running in the background. This continuous communication with the APEX device will allow the app to continue receiving realtime and up to date data to display on the app's user interface.

-Pacemaker Feature
Sonra Watches Pacemaker feature allows users to pre-set and modify their workout variables for various types of workouts via Steady State and Intervals modes.

Pacemaker - Steady State
Steady State mode allows a user to monitor the speed of a custom steady state workout for a single athlete. When the athlete deviates from the set speed (above or below the custom limits) they will receive haptic & visual feedback from Sonra Watch to alert them alter their speed to ensure they perform then exercise at the desired pace.

Pacemaker - Intervals
Intervals mode allows a user to predetermine work & rest times, that can be used for all types of interval training. Coaches can input their desired workout options through custom work and rest periods and number reps and sets providing prompts the coach when to cue for work & rest periods along with 5 second warning of when a rep is about to begin via audio & haptic feedback.

Set custom Steady State & Intervals workout ahead of sessions via settings or simply on field during sessions with Pacemaker's intuitive set up. Previous workout settings are held until a changed by the user.
