And all I did those first couple of days of grieving was stay in bed drowning out the world with nature sounds it took me a solid week to realize it's not me losing my mind, it's the app that's changed. So now I only use the stream one to fall asleep to. I'll take this over something that requires a monthly subscription fee ### 2/5 — Added Music Ruins Beautiful Nature Sounds *2024-08-30, version 2.3* I purchased this app for the crystal clear nature soundscapes. At some point they have added droning, repetitive meditation music over the top and there is no way to turn it off. In some scenes, the notes of the music do not align well with the natural frequencies of the nature scene and creates more of a stressful atmosphere that if either of the sound sources were by themselves. Please simply add optionality for the music so that users may enjoy natural sounds only. I give four and not five because there is no massive diffrence between the diffrent location sounds. I would like to hear a storm for example with thunder in the sea and in the forest. Sobald aber eine gesprochene Meditation hinzukommt, ist das Ganze eine Zumutung für die Ohren, da die Meditation so leise ist, dass man sie mit den Geräuschen, die eigentlich als Hintergrund wahrnehmbar sein sollten, überhaupt nicht versteht. Das ist sehr schade, aber bestimmt zu beheben. Daher meine Bitte an die Entwickler, sich das mal genauer anzusehen bzw. anzuhören. Having not used it for a while I’ve tried to use it and the background sounds completely overpower the voice - even though the sliding bar is fully at the voice end. I feel like an update would have caused this. The experience is the same in the other guided sessions.
