Aber irgendwann verliert er die Verbindung dann doch wieder. 2. BULB: warum läuft denn hier nicht autom eine Zeitanzeige mit ? Denn wann man zur Stoppuhr wechselt, beendet die App sofort die Aufnahme. 3. And for some reason the camera gets added twice in my Bluetooth menu. Every time I open it, it requires login and accepting terms and conditions. Every. Single. Time. I would close an eye if it was a smooth experience, but both require 10-20 seconds to load both on 5G and wifi. ### 2/5 — Standortverknüpfung funktioniert nur noch sporadisch *2026-08-02* Letztes Jahr konnte ich die Standortverknüpfung noch ziemlich zuverlässig mit der A7 M4 verwenden. Aktuell trotz dauerhafter Verbindung muss ich mit der neuen Version, die App immer wieder erst einmal öffnen, manuell sicherstellen das die Verknüpfung aktiv ist und nur dann erst scheint es zu funktionieren. Das ist ziemlich umständlich. Ob das an der App, an der neuen A7 Firmware oder an einem neueren iOS liegt, kann ich nicht sagen. Using Bluetooth and WiFi, but seems to want to connect to camera via WiFi directly and via lan WiFi at same time. Nothing is helped by menus being wrong for my camera and even their pictographics show the wrong camera - it looks like a c model , not a full sized A7V as indicated by model number. ### 3/5 — Was great but… *2026-07-23, version 3.4.2* This app shuts down the memory mode dial. Huge bug. I’ve used this app in the past and it’s always worked fairly well. When using Wi-Fi generally there was pretty poor lag. Couldn’t really trust it to keep up. I was pretty excited to use it with my A7V as it has a dedicated USB-C with high data transfer rates. But, when I connect both Wi-Fi or cable the mode dial on my camera stops working so if I wanna go to my memory number two from memory number one, I have to disconnect the USB-C. Pretty serious bug. ### 3/5 — Top tier app held back by login issues *2026-07-23, version 3.4.2* The Sony Creators' app is an excellent application with a lot of potential for content creators and hobbyists alike. When paired with the Sony A6700, the wireless connectivity and remote functionality work amazingly well. Unfortunately, the overall experience is severely held back by persistent and frustrating login challenges. Stop asking for access to my mobile data. Stop asking for access to my photos — every single time I switch to the app! I just want to sync the time and location and the prompts interrupt that. Having a lot of difficulty importing videos/pictures to my iPad or phone even with USB or WiFi connection. This is a privacy concern.
