This feature makes this nice headset useless for meeting, basically cuts me out of the meeting. Also others in meeting only catch a few words before it cuts off. ### 3/5 — Good, but my headphones keep switching modes when I speak and I can’t turn it off *2026-08-16, version 13.2.0* I don’t understand why my voice keeps switching the noise cancelling modes and pausing whatever I’m listening to. This is incredibly frustrating and I have gone into settings and turned this feature off, but when I connect to a different device it turns back on. This is an issue for me because I don’t care what mode it is on, as long as it stays there. I just wish turning the speech feature off actually worked instead of turning itself back on again. Upgraded my iPhone and now the app doesn’t work. Freezes whenever I try to connect to my headphones. I have to restart the whole app, and it still won’t connect. It’s incredibly frustrating to me when big companies like Sony let feature creep bloat into an area that actually makes the product worse. Whenever I start it, it has trouble to connect to iPhone and I have to restart the phone for it to connect. That app is slow and inconvenient to use. I swore by them, despite trying cheaper competitors. I can no longer follow that path, however, as I am spending an increasing amount of time trying to disable “convenience” factors. Most significantly, the “Speak-to-Chat” function has, for years, frustrated me. But I used to always be able to disable it, whether it was the tap-input or the app settings. But nothing I seem to be able to do any more works. Instead, every 5 minutes my listening is interrupted, and there’s nothing I can do to prevent it.
