E siamo nel 2023. ### 1/5 — Sony a1 transfer *2023-02-12, version 1.7.0* How can Sony build such an amazing camera but can’t develop an app that connects easily and transfers the images you want easily? I paid way too much for my a1 and a9 to deal with a app like this. ### 1/5 — Error 400 *2022-12-31, version 1.7.0* Not only am I getting a plain text error, I am getting the full line of code that is supposed to throw the error. This is both hilarious in how bad it is and is probably a security risk. The only way was to get pics from the imaging edge app, but that would be transferring them twice. Pointless. Even though I’m quite familiar with ftp servers, even following their directions was useless. Disappointing since I love everything else about the camera, and the imaging edge app works decent enough. This app was supposed to save steps, but in fact I only added more. ### 1/5 — 最悪 *2021-12-28* まともに動かない 接続も困難 動作テストしてるのか不思議 ### 1/5 — Almost pointless on iPhones, thanks to Apple *2021-12-23, version 1.5.0* The app relies on a Wi-Fi connection to the camera to FTP JPEGs. When there is no access point available, as is often the case for most of this app’s intended users, the app must use the phone’s hotspot to create an access point for the cameras. The problem is that iPhones automatically turn off their hotspots when it detects no active connections. Every time this happens I have to take the phone out, re-enable the hotspot and restart the FTP server in the app. This happens when the camera idles to sleep, is turned off or has the FTP power save function enabled — in other words: All. The. Freaking. Time. Do not fault Sony for this because it is Apple who forces this on users without an option to disable the timeout. I’m sure this is less of an issue for sports photographers who have thousands of images transferring slowly enough that the hotspot connection never times out. But for photographers with more sporadic transfers like news photographers, this app is a no-go on the iPhone. ### 1/5 — 垃圾玩意 *2021-12-11* 垃圾玩意。没法登录。 ### 1/5 — Can’t even log in *2021-12-03* This app does not work at all. I have no issues using SFTP with FTP Manager Pro and other $1.99+ apps. SONY PLEASE fix the sftp in 1.9.2. Wenn es aber um Software und Apps geht, sollten die Entwickler dringend bei den Mitbewerbern schauen. Man sieht es an den Bewertungen: egal, welche Software zum Übertragen der auf den Markt kommt IEM, T&T, Memories...), ganz mies umgesetzt. Imaging Edge läuft halbwegs erträglich, wenn man sich an die Instabilität gewöhnt. Aber hier bin ich noch nicht mal dazu gekommen, auch nur ein Bild zu übertragen. Netzwerkabbrüche, Login nicht möglich. My camera can finally upload photos to my phone while shooting. However, is it possible to make it upload the photos to my online drives like OneDrive or Google drive? This can be a nice feature to add. ### 5/5 — On the fly IPTC! *2019-03-31, version 1.0.0* I’ve only used this app a little but it solves a huge problem when I’m shooting sports or events. I can do IPTC captions on the fly with this, that get sent along with the images, with presets for each shoot.
