Please Devs, if you’re reading this, please invest into customer support. I have had many questions and concerns regarding the withdrawals not hitting my bank account, despite having it set up right, and so far they’ve fallen on deaf ears. Potential users beware of their slow customer support! Also the Face ID to login was nice, they took it out for whatever reason and now you just have the long way of logging in, no passcode or Face ID now, which is a huge bummer. **Developer response:** Thank you for the feedback! We are a small team, being that Soon is still new, however we do agree with the need for better coverage. We are working on increasing our support to have better response times. Face ID was temporarily disabled due to a bug we found but should be working again. If you are still having issues please let us know via the support tickets or emailing Support@soon.app. We appreciate the feedback as we are still growing and improving. ### 1/5 — App keeps crashing *2023-04-12* When I opted to cash out and selected to delete account, App kept crashing when I tried to log in, effectively preventing me from withdrawing my funds. Also deleting my account did not liquidate my portfolio but nothing happened and I cannot sell the cryptos and I am currently stuck. I contacted the customer support via email couple of days ago but no response! horrible!! **Developer response:** I apologize for the poor experience you had with the app and also with support. Again, I apologize and hope we can help resolve the issue. ### 5/5 — Crypto purchases & sales automatically *2023-01-04, version 1.7* Pretty easy! Connects to your bank like Venmo does, and pulls in whatever budget you set to invest each month. It splits the investment amount up into daily chunks throughout the month, and puts it into a portfolio of cryptocurrencies. The really clever bit is the automated selling. It uses your spending activity (à la Mint) and puts it into an algorithm to figure out how frequently you should sell your cryptos, and how much of ‘em you should sell. E.g. I buy an energy drink for $2, and Soon will check all my positions for the most profitable ones, and sells $2 worth automatically. So I’m already getting cash to pay off some of my credit card, before I even get the bill. Pretty smart stuff. 10/10 would recommend ### 5/5 — Big time saver! *2022-09-25, version 1.3* It’s definitely a cool concept. Takes all the energy out of dollar cost averaging, which has kept me from investing in the past. I dropped over $500 , now recently there calling bankruptcy. Still there on the app is what is crazy ! Like don’t give me the stakes still give me my ownm$ . If this app is allowing you to deposit $ , there robbing you. 100%! ### 1/5 — Where is my money *2024-01-14* The app out of nowhere this year decided it would shut down and force you to withdraw the money from account or transition over to a broker. I chose to withdraw the money and over a month later the money still has not been transferred to my bank. They sent me an update after I requested help from support saying they could not send a wire to my account and to provide them PayPal name to send money to and still have not received money. The support response is slow. Also they had no problem doing an ETF from my bank account to them but can’t return my money to me in a timely manner. I have tried to reach out to Diego but has been over 2 weeks since my last email to him and support with no response. This will get reported to the SEC if not resolved quickly. ### 1/5 — Avoid at all costs *2023-11-16* This developer has been around for awhile, the app, web version and anything else it produces is completely broken. You might be able to get through the signup process, you might not. Be very cautious here. Your going to be sharing very private sensitive information and it will likely fail at onboarding stage. For instance you “might” be able to access the resources and site and then suddenly after you pay for a subscription everything breaks for you. Think about it, why only 30+ reviews? This isn’t a new dev. The entire experience was garbage and broken, support is slow. I would urge people who have started to join remove all personal data and any exchange links you have. If you want to critique me, I have NEVER left a review in the entire ecosystem of apple since inception. But, I consider this company and its ties to our sensitive data, account info to raise the warning. Please avoid! ### 1/5 — FaceID doesn’t work *2023-07-03* Have to key in my credentials each time. First deposit still hasn’t been initiated. Huge thumbs down! ### 1/5 — Not what it claims *2023-06-29* After I opened my account using the app, the first thing I noticed was the clunky user interface. After that I realized there are some significant functionality issues with the app. Soon’s support team had yet to respond to my support request (filed over a week ago). I filed a support request via the app because after I made my initial deposit of $150, only $139 of showed up in my Soon account (despite $153 being withdrawn from my bank account). Still no answer as to why there was a variance or where my money went. Closed my account after less than two weeks. We’ll see how long it takes for Soon to deposit the balance back into my bank account. **Developer response:** We do sincerely apologize about that delay in response time. We are working to increase our support staff to increase our coverage. Our engineering team is actively working on getting your issue resolved and should have a response to your ticket soon. We appreciate the feedback as we are growing and know there are things we can fix and are actively updating our process with the feedback our users provide. We hope you will give our app a try again in the future. ### 1/5 — Won't let me change my deposit account *2023-06-14* They say it's to prevent fraud. I don't understand how punishing customers with this limitation prevents fraud. I am never adding additional funds until they enable this. **Developer response:** Thank you for the feedback. We initially disabled the ability to change a deposit account because people were attempting to use if for fraudulent purposes. I’m glad I didn’t invest 1000. I would not recommend this app. **Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback. We had some trades that took longer to process with our custodial partner than expected. Our app wasn't correctly showing pending trades so it showed a lower balance. I invested $100.00 and only $5.00 was invested after two weeks of my capital sitting there. Amazingly, I have made money when bitcoin and other digital currencies have gone down as well as when they go up in price. Obviously it has higher returns when it’s going up, but the cost average purchasing means your more likely to have a better return over time.
