It smooths over ambient noise, making it easier for me to fall asleep. ### 4/5 — My go-to sleep aid *2017-07-02* I use it almost every night to sleep to. Very useful when traveling for drowning out ambient noises. I really like the combination of sounds you can create. However the sound levels seem to vary greatly from one to the other so getting them balanced takes some familiarity. Also it seems to reboot itself for no particular reason so about once a week I need to set it up again, but that isn't a big deal. If it weren't for those 2 things I'd give it 5 stars. ### 5/5 — THE FUTURE *2014-08-08* This is a beautiful easy to use app l have on my iPad....now iPhone.... I've made my own soundscapes from the many amazing samples... Amazing l totally recommend it to all. If you want a chill-out soundscape..this is it. You can save your creations and try variations, so you can test-run options easily. This app saved my sleep! I tried a few other ones, but they're all really similar and weren't giving me the depth of sound I was looking for. Highly recommend! Also recommend getting some decent speakers to get the full benefit of this app. ### 5/5 — By far the best *2014-01-07* The ultimate collection of gentle music and nature sounds combined to create a brilliant atmospheric app. I've have enjoyed relaxing to this app so much that i can't sleep without it now. This app sent me into a peaceful sleep no problem. I would not listen too in the day however if you have trouble sleeping, pop this on and let your imagination take you away. Sounds so relaxing you will drift off. i upgraded from the Lite version and the relaxation it brings, totally worth it. ### 5/5 — Disappointing to read a few bad reports *2013-06-09* Brilliant programming, the sounds are just right very soothing, timing a great idea. Works well with the alarm. I'd like to suggest seasonal sounds. I know $2 doesn’t sound like a lot of money, but it can add up over time if you are looking for true relief from insomnia. The struggle is real, and I don’t want to have to spend money on one app and then another and another to have them crash. (I’m not doing that, by the way as I look for the free ones, but sometimes the paid ones ARE better. So I can see why someone with insomnia would. The creators made it customizable, so you can combine as many of the sounds as you like, and even set a specific volume and intensity level for each sound individually. The selection of noises is very good, and I appreciate the fact that there is a silence timer feature as well as an alarm.
