No issue with that. Make your money. What the problem is. Closing the adds to see what’s playing or to change stations. Does not work. To change stations if they do an add I’ve got to close the app and do it again ### 3/5 — Great music, annoying ads *2025-09-09* The positives: I love the music. I have been listening to SR for over a decade, and it is such a nostalgic trip down memory lane every time I stream. The negatives: I can’t express how annoying the ads that play before the music is steamed are (in particular the ad for royal kingdom I always seem to get). I appreciate needing ads to offset costs, but they are terrible. I’d gladly pay for an ad free app if that was ever offered. I should clarify that I do not mind the ads that play between songs. They are short and all seemingly Disney centric anyway. However, I am often deterred from opening the app in the first place because of the ads. ### 4/5 — Love Sorcerer Radio *2025-08-13, version 7.0.1* If there would be one thing that make it even better is if would it would be compatible with apple car play. ### 4/5 — Great app except for a couple of caveats *2025-04-20* Love the app but had to take off a star for two things. One is there is no Apple CarPlay option which is essential for me as i commute two hours a day and want hassle free stream listening. Second is the ad overlaying the stream sometimes. Ad free option I would pay for to support the radio network. I do enjoy those areas, but it is also okay to branch out to other areas. So I’m hearing 2 things at once. Please fix these issues ### 4/5 — must have for any Disney parks fan *2021-04-14, version 6.0.5* 4-14-21 PROS: Radio: Sorcerer Radio is a fantastic app that has great people running it and has a fantastic following. I’ve been a listener for three years now and when I ever I need a quick Disney fix and Michael kay doesn’t have a new video I turn on SR. They have a great selection of park loops and Disney movie music which most of it is high quality recordings. DW60: DW60 with Mr and Mrs Davis is a fantastic weekly show that gets you caught up on all the park happenings in under an hour. As of last year Jeff now features his wife in the show which being honest took a while to get used to but now I really enjoy her and think she has great input. Although I miss the intro music😫😫😫😫. CONS: New App update is trash. The new app not only turns the app purple but it takes away the epic Home Screen. The new app has awful usability but I work my way around it. Rip seasons and atmospheres. The summer time show on seasons (I think it was called waves) played nothing but bops and now I’m not sure if it’s ever coming back now it’s just filled with Kristen and Aljon 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮 Who are awful in there own right their show is so boring. And atmospheres (arguably the best part of SR) is now defunct and I hope it makes a return. ### 3/5 — Atmosphere music missing and season radio no longer playing music *2021-03-16* I have had this app for about a year now and it is great. Recently you guys changes all the stations which made it a little confusing for me, but I got used to it and I like it somewhat. With that being said, could you please fix these stations. Specifically the atmosphere station because it is no longer playing any music. Other than that, SorcererRadio used to be great, but their podcasters are really pulling the app down. Changing their name from WDW Tiki Room to the Disney List or whatever it is doesn’t change the fact the Aljon and Kristin are horrible. They are so boring and rehash the same old same old every week. They are way too worried about throwing out their web addresses to make affiliate sales or ad money. And Kristin’s voice was definitely not made for podcasting...like nails on a chalkboard. Sandy Alexander...still don’t think she’s ever been to Disney and she definitely doesn’t keep up with the latest happenings. Jeff Davis used to be great until he added his fiancée, Nicole, to the program during quarantine. Now everything revolves around their wedding. Their wedding pictures, their wedding video, full shows just talking about their wedding...all of this has not only flooded the SR app but all of the social media pages. Its bad enough that I’m constantly flooded with Nicole’s pictures and links for their wedding, but it’s pushed out four times!!! Once through Nicole’s page, once through Jeff’s page, once through their show’s page, and then through the SorcererRadio page. Enough already! Everyone loves a wedding but no one needs to relive your wedding over and over and over and over again. And DJ Sorcey...he makes mediocre remixes using Disney songs. If there was a way to block his “music” I would. If you love Disney Parks music try out the Atmospheres station on the app. But don’t waste your time with the Sorcerer Radio station or with the social media pages. **Developer response:** We've just released an all new channel, strictly for Disney World park music, called "Atmospheres". Download our brand new update to the app and I think you will be pleasantly surprised. ### 1/5 — Enjoy the Stations, But APP Doesn’t Work *2020-04-05, version 6.0.1* I enjoy SR on my other radio apps, so I wanted to download theirs exclusively so I could enjoy all of the stations they offer. Unfortunately, any station I attempt to listen to is constantly interrupted by buffering. I get 5 seconds of music and 10 of buffering. Rinse and repeat. Love to recommend the APP but simply doesn’t work. I’ve tried on WiFi, cellular data, and all types of combinations. Just doesn’t work. Could be my location in the world? But ever since the revamp, the pop-up ads make navigating the app a huge pain if not outright impossible. Often depending on the ad it will cause the app to crash altogether. Other times the add will completely block the app so it is unusable. And there is no way to make them go away! I love the Disney content, if only I could get to it! ### 1/5 — Extremely glitchy. *2019-03-31, version 5.3* Deleting this app because it is so glitchy now. I can’t get past the ads that pop up. When they pop up, the entire app freezes and won’t open until I close the app completely and reopen it. I wouldn’t download this app until the glitches are fixed. Download D park radio or subsonic. I really love supporting them because they provide Disney music for the hardcore Disney fan. You’re not hearing “Be Our Guest” on repeat here. This is an eclectic mix of Disney-inspired music. And the several channels are amazing! One for every mood! Feedback: sometimes the song displayed isn’t the one actually playing and I have to rest team to get synced up again. Also the app should have Kingdom Hearts music as well for fans of the video game franchise, and more Disney Channel music, also there should be music from the Chronicles of Narnia movies as well. This app should be labeled an official Disney app since people love it. This app should be related to Radio Disney. This app needs to be fixed, it shows error messages frequently and it keeps saying the intro all the time. Also, it keeps cutting off the connection and always has to reconnect and play the intro again, and the images take too long to change in between songs.
