But fight is too random, I understand it was supposed that I predict enemy by reading text, but author too often forget about it so they tell you everything exept for what’s enemy going to do.

I went over the four apps in my review of the first book, I’ll just add a few things. This is even more complex, tricky and fun than the previous work. Having the rewind feature disabled is a questionable choice. I understand it is frustrating. I would have given the choice to the player, between perhaps a beginner/weakling mode where rewinding is still possible and the full adventure as it is now. Or by giving the player the incentive to give up the rewinding. Or by giving a limited number of rewinds, etc. In the game books, after all, whether the rules forbade it or not, you coud always go back to the previous chapter or to the previous intersection. If you put that reservation aside, the app is again one of the best games out there and the whole series deserves high praise and success.

Don't listen to the 1, 2, 3, or even 4 stars. This is the best game I have ever played. The adventure and action mixed with the design is incredible.  I have played and completed this game series twice already. However, get the bundle of the sworcery! games or it won't make sense. The description has a quote saying one of the best RPGs on a Appstore. No, it IS the best RPG on the Appstore.

So I read online that you don't have to start at Sorcery 1 so I bought 3 & 4 since they were on sale at the time. I had high hopes for this game because I really love reading, novel style games, and choose your own path games but once I started the game, I couldn't really get into it. 

I actually felt kinda bored, maybe because I didn't really know what I was doing or how to do things, and I'm a huge fantasy fan. I felt there was a steep learning curve(especially spells) and I wish there was more help or a special tutorial for people who've never played this style of game or Sorcery before. I'll probably try again, maybe try to let myself go and just enjoy the ride. 

One problem I have with this game though is I feel like I have to explore everything and feel punished when I don't but then I feel I might get punished for taking so long. 

This game has amazing graphics, music, UI, and is a very smooth experience. Never had any issues with crashing or bugs. That's why I give it 3 stars cause it really is a great game but I just don't feel it's beginner friendly or casual friendly. Maybe starting with Sorcery 1 would be better. (If you're new, I really don't recommend getting Sorcery 3 first, I personally found it complicated)

本作も原作のゲームブックに囚われないで、要素が追加されたというより、アプリ版独自の構成になっています。マンパン要塞の外観すら変わってしまった。
要塞に入ると、やり直しが効かず、死んだ場合はZEd魔法で時間を戻す必要があります。同じ所を行ったり来たり、沢山持っていた金も巻き上げられ、せっかく持ち込んだ精巧な武器も身包み剥がされ、やっとクリアといった感じでひたすら難易度は高いです。
どうやらマルチエンディングのようで私は簡単な方のエンディングしか見ていないです。アプリ版独自の魔法はカレーの最後で習得しますが、知らなくても使えました。

Love the series - couldn't put them down. But this final instalment gets dull when you need to replay the final city again and again. On the third go, I stopped playing for about two months and haven't had the will to pick the game up again. Shame because it's been a brilliantly written and polished series.

Крайне качественная игра, которая требует от Вас знания английского на высоком уровне. К сожалению, у нас она не популярна, но я не пожалел ни копейки, потраченной на её покупку. Советую начать играть с других частей серии, дабы знать полный сюжет и иметь своего персонажа (прогресс переносится из части в часть). Советую всем любителям РПГ с большим количеством текста и малым количеством экшена. Это почти полноценная книга. В общем, рекомендую.

Das Spiel ist einfallsreich und gut gestaltet. Die Gestaltung, die einem Spielbrett ähnelt hat was. Die Story ist ziemlich komplex, der Verlauf ist hart. Eigentlich alles gut, aber aus meiner Sicht etwas zu eintönig, dafür, dass die einzelnen Hinweise, etc. sehr schwer herauszufinden sind. Hab das Spiel schließlich abgebrochen. Zu wenig neue Hinwiese, aus denen man etwas machen könnte. Schade.

The city hub is a nice idea, but removing the request utterly ruins the game. A single misspressed response ruined the entire game for me. Do not reccommend.

A terrible finale that betrays the very foundation that made the series great. It is advertised from the very beginning that "no decision is permanent" but that quickly turns out to no longer be the case. I can understand that they were trying to do something interesting but all it did was cause endless frustration that made me quit playing the game. Didn't bother finishing it and uninstalled, choosing to watch a stream instead. Was far more enjoyable than this waste of money.

As other reviewers have pointed out the rewind button has been removed from the end of the game, presumably to punish fans who had been looking forward to an exciting climax of an epic series. The end has been turned into a boring slog of trial and error.

Oh Inkle, you were doing so well! Parts 1-3 were excellent, but your decision to remove the rewind was awful. Having to repeat whole sections of the game with instakill events has just left me bored. What were you thinking?

This is a preliminary review as I've only played the beginning of this game. 

The huge deal-breaker, though, is that you can't rewind once you're inside Mampang. 

That's a big deal to me as I was able to experiment before without remorse. I could explore and if things went badly wrong, I'd rewind and try a different approach.
That's gone now and it's annoying me enough to even take a break in mid-playing.

Punishing repetition. Games are supposed to be fun or at least compelling. Going through the paces over and over again is neither. I’ll read a walkthrough to find out about the possible endings.

I loved this series. LOVED it!  Until this one. Removing the rewind function, that the previous entries were built around and that facilitated the joy of exploration and experimentation, was unnecessary and poorly executed.

Compensating with a "hard reset" that sends you back to virtually the beginning of the story, and unlike sorcery!2 doesn't let you choose a reset point, forces you into a decision making process of simply "which option lets me NOT die so I don't have to redo the entire story".  It's not enjoyable at all.

Most in depth reviews point out this "repetition" as a negative, but still give it a good score. Yes it is a quality product, just not fun.

I've put in a lot of hours in the Sorcery series , and have enjoyed them. 

Not so much with this one. Forcing you to redo redo redo and re read text over and over isn't fun. The rewind button prevented that, allowing you to try something different right there if you messed up. They decided to take out the rewind button.

If the challenges were more fair , fine; But they are brutal and illogical, forcing you to lose your stamina every time you restart. 

After many hours of effort, I just deleted the game. This is a character playing all the way from the first Sorcery who was well stocked with stamina, weapons, magical items, rations and gold. I was reduced to nothing, except for magical items. My stamina was down to a paltry 9 when I deleted the game.

I didn't enjoy this game. The other reviewers seem to have some kind of a weird cultish reverence. I would like to punch each one in the face. Maybe someone casted the "illusion of worship" spell on them.

It is so deep and interesting. Like interactive book. Lots of plot choices, making millions of walkthrough options.
Little to no bugs at all.
No ads, no in game purchases.
Just enjoy.
I spent probably few hundred hours in 3 attempts to finish. Not that it is difficult, just my approach to investigate full potential of the game was exhausting

I really like this game and have been addicted to it since my friend recommended it to me, I like how there are multiple different endings that you can play out with some being good and some not so much. Almost everything about it is great. The only minor thing that I don’t like is that the final ending is a bit underwhelming compared to what I was expecting but the game itself was excellent.
