## What is Sorokun?

Main Events (総合種目)

This section presents events found in abacus competitions and exams—addition/subtraction, multiplication, and division, along with their respective mental calculation counterparts—tailored to your proficiency level. You can enter your answers directly within the app. In "Practice Mode," you receive immediate feedback on whether your answers are correct or incorrect. "Exam Mode" imposes a time limit, and you cannot check your results until you submit your answers. The problems correspond to the grade levels defined by both the Zen-Shu-Ren and the Nisshu-Ren standards.

Flash Anzan (フラッシュ暗算)

Flash Anzan involves mentally adding up a rapid succession of numbers displayed on the screen. Two modes are available: "Exam Mode," where you challenge yourself based on specific grade levels, and "Free Mode," which allows you to freely customize the number of entries, number of digits, and display speed. Exam Mode supports the grade standards of both the Zenshuren and the Japan Flash Anzan Association.

Dictation of Sums (読上算)

This training involves mentally adding and subtracting numbers as they are read aloud. Problems are read using VOICEVOX speech synthesis, and you can select the character who reads them. Like Flash Mental Arithmetic, this feature offers both Exam Mode and Free Mode. In Exam Mode, you can take mock exams based on the Zenshuren's standards. In Free Mode, you can customize the number of entries, the digit range, and the reading speed, as well as choose whether to include only addition or both addition and subtraction.
