Why do i have to go to the settings to force it to resync with my watch? 2 hrs and it hasnt synced with the watch? That’s when I found out that their support site has been discontinued due to non-payment. Then I noticed that the app hasn’t been updated in at least a year. I rarely use apps that aren’t updated regularly. What makes it shine is how it handles the kinds of tasks that slip through the cracks: recurring household chores, HEPA filter replacements, reaching out to friends, medical follow‑ups, plant care, and all the other “life maintenance” items that deserve a home but don’t need a full project board. Tasks can recur on a fixed schedule or after completion, which keeps routines flexible and reduces overdue clutter. Tasks can also include checklists, giving you enough structure without turning every item into a mini‑project. It’s a good balance: the app is both flexible and intentionally barebones, living comfortably between a simple list app and a full productivity system. Sorted works best as part of a broader ecosystem—paired with a calendar, email, or a more robust long‑term planning tool. And as a regular user of the app, up until about six months ago, the updates were getting further and further apart, and, the updates were getting less and less relevant or functional. There was even a short period of time when user requests for updates and fixes were met with a succinct, "Uuuuh". No kidding. It was a great to-do list manager while it lasted, but it's a dead horse and the developers should show at least a little, even fake, integrity, and let us know that all further development is over. And again, Apple needs to take ultimate responsibility for this sort of thing, which I've been through several times with a few apps over the years. (I've been using the App store since it started.) After all, we're forced to get all of our mobile apps exclusively from the App store to protect the integrity of the store, Apple, and us ... right? Let me re-iterate, this app should, at the bare minimum, be flagged by Apple as, no longer under development, and developers should be obligated to notify Apple, even if they don't have the scruples to say it directly to us. Pressing “Restore Purchase” on both my iPhone and MacBook only shows an endless loading circle and never completes. At this point, the money I paid for lifetime access feels completely wasted. The app still does not allow users to create reminders with rules like “every first Sunday of July” or “every fifth Sunday of August.” Apple’s built-in Reminders app already supports this, while this third-party app, despite presenting itself as a more advanced alternative, still lacks such a basic option. Because of this, I still need to keep Apple Reminders and use it together with this app. That makes me question the value of this product: if Reminders can do the same job just as well, and in some cases even better, then why should I use this app at all? A nicer interface alone is not enough when important functionality is missing. If feedback emails are ignored for years and a practical user request remains unresolved, then sharing this experience on the App Store is completely fair. For me, this app is not worth buying while it continues to miss such an important reminder option.
